How are the hostel rooms in KIIT?

One of my friends shared her hostel experience at KIIT.
- For girls, there is only one hostel called the Queen's Castle whereas, for boys, there were several hostels named King Palace 1, 2 and so on.
- First year students were assigned 4-seater sharing rooms. The size of the rooms was average and comprised of all basic amenities like individual beds, tables, chairs, and shared cupboards.
- The second-year rooms were bigger and triple-occupancy. Moreover, the students have the chance to choose their own roommates. The rooms and roommates allotted in the second year are permanent for the rest of the years.
Earlier there were no AC rooms but now I have from my friends KIIT hostel rooms are air-conditioned.

Some of my friends at KIIT opted for hostels. According to them, out of all the hostels in Bhubaneswar, the ones of KIIT are the best.
- Each room is furnished with three bed tables, three study tables and three cupboards for storage purposes.
- The rooms also have fans. They also have AC but you will have to pay a little more to get that facility.
- There are also attached bathrooms for the students.
The hostel for the boys has been renovated but the problem with space still persists. Not to mention that the hostels had small rooms. A new hostel has been built but the problem of small rooms has not been solved yet.
