There's a TV room for enjoying cricket or football matches and also a common playing room on each floor which contains table tennis paraphernalia, carrom board, and a fast WiFi connection. One of the best things to do after dinner is to sit with friends behind the SVBH mess.
In total there are six hostels for male undergraduate students-
Only Swami Vivekananda Hostel is for first-year students and they aren't allowed to leave the hostel except to attend classes. The rooms are fully furnished with beds and cupboards in addition to the study table. There is an ample amount of washrooms, Aquaguard, and geysers available as well. Everything you need is available inside the campus like a general store, reprography store, canteen, etc. The warden and caretaker are present to address any security issues you might have.
