How is the girls hostel at IIT Bhubaneswar?

IIT Bhubaneswar offers hostel accommodation for both boys and girls. Subarnarekha Hall of Residence is the girl hostel in IIT Bhubaneswar. Hostel rooms are equipped with a bed, cupboard, study table with chair, and wardrobe. Each floor has shared washrooms and there are washing machines, water purifiers on every floor. All floors in girls’ hostel block have a common room along with a kitchen with basic equipment for cooking. The LAN provides high-speed internet connectivity. The mess of the hostel is on the ground floor of the building and is completely hygienic. There is also one common reading room.

There are stationary, and eatery inside the campus. Other utility shops like a grocery store, a medical shop, an ATM are at a single place called 'Shopping Complex' which makes it easy for students to get any necessary things. The campus is under CCTV surveillance for security purposes.
