The dress code for girls is Saree with Golden Border/Churidar of Offwhite or White or Cream Color. For placements, the girls are always asked to be in their formals. The formals can be in the form of Churidar / Saree / Blazer with shirts tucked in, etc. Since jeans are not a part of formals therefore the girls are not allowed to wear such during such events.

IIT Bhubaneswar has a wide range of facilities that are offered to students to excel in sports and games. A variety of sports are played by students like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Chess, Lawn Tennis, Athletic, and Aquatics, etc. A well-equipped gym is present at every hostel to ensure student’s fitness and sound health.
