Is IIT BHU an autonomous body?

In Technex’s 2023 edition, these events were:
- Hack It Out- Hack it out is a theme-based web/app development hackathon that has two rounds. The first round is an elementary round and involves prototype development, the finals are held on campus. The participants can use any tech stack.
- International Coding Marathon- International Coding Marathon is the flagship programming event of Technex. It puts to test your problem-solving skills in a competition against thousands of participants from across the globe.
- Game Jam- This is a game development competition. The participants need to use their creativity and game development skills to create an exciting game that has unique mechanics. The game has to be based around a theme and the time allotted is 7 days. Participants can use any game engine or framework.
- CTF- An international online CTF which is open to all hackers where they can showcase their skills in different areas of computing and solve real-life cyber security challenges to get to the top of the leaderboard. To retrieve a hidden flag, you must have a deep knowledge of cyber security and hacking.
- MLWare- The participants use their skills to solve a real-world problem or optimize a model through the utilization of advanced techniques and algorithms. You have to demonstrate an exceptional performance on a provided dataset, competing with other experts for prizes and prestige.
- Polyglot- The event combines elements of relay racing and solving challenging problems in multiple languages. Participants will be given tasks ranging from API calls to Filesystem-based tasks, and the most popular languages get banned in the following rounds.

Does IIT BHU have good faculty for M.Tech in ECE?
IIT BHU faculty for M.TEch ECE is good. The faculties are well experienced. Most of the faculty members have their Ph.D. The HOD of ECE department is Prof. Vishwambhar Nath Mishra. He has many publications to his name.
The faculties have received many awards. SPIRIT is an annual fest of pharmaceutical engineering & Tech. branch of IIT(BHU). It is a national level event where pass out students can also participate. Pharma and medical enthusiasts from the country come together in this two-day fest to encapture new ideas and innovations to bring out the best of the participants. There are many competitions where you can compete to share and gain knowledge and ideas. Workshops and seminars are also organized. IIT(BHU) is the only IIT having a pharma branch, that's why it is the best college of pharma. The Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering and Technology, IIT (BHU) was established in 1932.
