The Training and Placement department of LNCT provides internship opportunities but the same cannot be said for the IT department, sadly.

However, if you are looking for internship opportunities, the institute may disappoint you. To get maximum exposure, you can try participating in extracurricular activities. Some of the companies do offer internships based on your level of interest and assign roles like Assistant Officer, beginner roles among other roles.

If you want to become a student of civil engineering, Autocad and other related internships are included in the course. You can get them done on your own with help from the institute. 

I have lived in Bhopal for the past decade, so I know a little bit about LNCT. It is basically a tier-3 engineering college. 

• It is regarded as the top engineering college in Bhopal, behind MANIT (NIT Bhopal) and possibly RGPV. It is ranked among the top 10 colleges in MP, not only in Bhopal.
• This college has an outstanding placement record, with nearly 100% placements (or so they say). According to the 2020 placement highlights the highest CTC offered at the institute was 27 LPA. 
• Bhopal is a fantastic place to live. Life here is immensely enjoyable because of the clean atmosphere, kind people, and excellent infrastructure.
• From an academic aspect, there are numerous coaching institutes that cater to the needs of students preparing for competitive exams such as GATE, UPSC, GRE, CAT, and a variety of others.

These are the reasons why you should choose LNCT over BIT Bhilai. 

LNCT, Bhopal is renowned to be amongst the top private colleges in Bhopal and is appreciated in every form. Besides my study point, one of my brothers is a recent alumnus of the MCA department of LNCT Bhopal. 

• The institute offers a broad range of subject choices to pursue, with the inclusion of basic amenities to meet the requirements. 
• The major upside is their faculty which is equally cooperative and highly experienced.
• Computer Science is the most promising branch coming into popular emergence every day. 
• There is a huge demand for CSE graduates in India and abroad.
• The recruitment rate for positions concerning software engineering, application developers, and programmers are budding ever since. 

In simple words, LNCT Bhopal is considered in the top list of private institutes for engineering that essentially also offer the best placement to its students. 

Both Oriental and LNCT are the most renowned private engineering colleges of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. After researching about them online, here are some things I got to know. 

• Oriental offers Bachelor of Engineering (BE) the 4 years (8 semesters) degree course in mechanical engineering .
• This course at Oriental is also an approved course of AICTE.
• The average package of Oriental for mechanical engineering students is about 3-4 LPA.
• LNCT provides courses of Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and the BE Lateral Entry among 9 specializations.
• The course at LNCT is also approved by the AICTE and is a 4year (8 semester) degree course.
• The average package of LNCT for mechanical engineering students is also about 3-4 LPA and has a placement rate of 75-80% that is decent enough.

This depicts that both the colleges are good enough and it depends on the student only where to go. Among LNCT and Oriental, LNCT is more preferred by the students for their interests and academic reasons.

I have friends from both LNCT Bhopal and JIIT Noida, and according to the conversations that I had with them, I will say JIIT is relatively better than the former. The reason, quite clearly, is because the admission shortlisting is based upon the rank secured in JEE Mains, and not on the basis of marks acquired in the boards.

So you will be among a better peer group at JIIT which will be highly beneficial for your personality development, alongside several other positive differences.

Here are the recent placement highlights for both institutes.

With better peer group and exposure, JIIT Noida is definitely better than LNCT Bhopal.

For the first year, the syllabus is the same for all the branches. This gives an overview of all the branches. This does not mean that you will not be studying subjects related to your branch. You will have subjects like Basic Mechanical Engineering (BME), basics of computer languages such as C, C++, etc.

These subjects are scoring. You can easily score high grades in these subjects. 

Yes, the institution does have an NGO which goes by the name” Rahat: Be the change-maker”. This NGO is operational under the supervision of LNCT Bhopal and the students that are enrolled in one of the courses offered by the institute. 

• The primary goal of this NGO is to educate the children who are residing in orphanages. 
• This initiative by the NGO gives the orphan children a chance to feel special and happy. 
• They help in reminding these children that they are equally a part of the world as everyone else. 
• The workers of the NGO treat these children like they all belong to a family. 
• The enrolled students at LNCT who volunteer for the selfless services that are required by the NGO are doing an amazing job. 
• It is requested that if you are joining the institute then please be a part of this NGO for a good cause. 
• Also, you can encourage your friends who are studying at the institute to join. 

We can make them happy by joining the NGO and by working to achieve the goals. You or anyone interested can join the NGO by contacting the class coordinator of your batch. We hope that more and more students and volunteers would become a part of this NGO for the betterment of these children.

Both the branches, be it ECE or IT are similar in LNCT. The branch to be taken should not anyhow depend on the college rather it should depend on your interest. 

• Try choosing the college based on your interests.
• Evaluate the academics, placements, facilities offered, etc. before finalizing your answer.
• LNCT has a good reputation, with proper well maintained infrastructure.
• They offer the students with all the necessary facilities and modern equipment.
• IT at LNCT is really good, it has much better reviews than ECE.

It is suggested that you go for IT at LNCT, as it has more placement on campus and opportunities for IT students.
