Success Stories Beyond Graduation

Every campus has its legends. The types that you can nod to, the intellectual giants in any field, the act now types, and those that somehow turned campus banter into a reality.
At Parul University, the stories don't just end with graduation; they just begin. This blog isn't a highlight reel. This is a boots-on-the-ground, actual look behind the curtain at alumni who converted late-night study sessions into planning meetings, degrees into strategy, and internships into ventures. From Dubai's skyline to Wellness clinics in Gujarat, this is what life looks like after PU and how those we all know are all making it happen!

PIET Student, Class of 2016, Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Kent PLC, Dubai. From drawing mechanical diagrams in PU’s classrooms to leading projects in the Middle East’s energy sector, Kalpak Shukla’s journey is all about expansion: of skills, networks, and dreams. In Dubai, where engineering meets speed and scale, Kalpak is working at the center of global infrastructure and modern energy. His advice to students?  "Learn to think globally but act with precision locally." This guy knows how to create, whether it's career ladders or oil pipelines.

Chemistry Major at PIASR, Class of 2016, Co-Founder & Financial Advisor, Fin-Infra. One day you're measuring compounds, the next you're calculating ROI.  For you, that is Rudraksh. From pure science to business, he leaped, and it has paid off, literally. Instead of making a claim that his Chemistry background was useless, he leveraged it accordingly. His discipline, detail, and analytical thinking have provided him with advantages in his role today. He is a co-founder and financial advisor, which has parallels with his work managing risk when he had to manage chemicals.

BHMS Student at RHMC, Class of 2017, Founder, Umiyaji Clinic. Has homeopathy even graphed on the use of AI? It sounds crazy until Dr. Sagar tells you. He is merging AI technologies at Umiyaji Clinic with traditional healing for faster diagnosis and individualized care. While most clinics utilize manual record-keeping, Sagar uses data for dashboards, health analysis, and custom treatment plans. Does that sound like the future of healthcare?

Physiotherapy Student at PIPT, Class of 2015, Consultant & Hospital Administrator, Savita Superspeciality Hospital. Dr. Poorvika did not just treat patients; she changed the way physiotherapy could be viewed for hospital leadership.  Moving from hands-on patient care to hospital administration, she is now responsible for both people and policy. She frequently says to students: “Your program degree is just tool number one.  Learn how to lead.”  From helping patients walk again to improving hospital operations, she is proof that leadership can be worn in a lab coat or a suit.

Dhara Patel, 2007 PIET Graduate, Drish Devmurari, PIET Class of 2015, Dhara: Senior Eximetas Design Verification Engineer, Drish: Gateway Group of Companies Analyst. What happens when two PU grads settle into the UAE's bustling tech industry? You get a powerhouse duo discussing their experiences and work hacks to build your career, without the burnout. "The industry may seem busy, but there’s always space for thinkers, builders, and people who can pivot quicker than others" was their unequivocal sentiment during the Innovate X 1.0 session. The duo doesn't just work in tech - they are molding it.

PPI Student, Class of 2019, Auto Design Engineer at L&T Technology Services. From sketching car designs in his notebook to designing EV hardware systems in the real world at L&T, his experience has followed a similar, streamlined success trajectory as the machines he develops. Gaurang is part of the next generation of designers who are creating electric, automated, and smart mobility solutions. He often tells his juniors, "Design is not about shapes: it's about solving." If he's done both, his life, career, and experience are endorsements to power based on creating and curiosity.

AHMC Student, Class of 2014, Founder, Nirvana Homeopathy & Tvamm Elixirs. Dr. Ankit did not want just to open a clinic; he wanted a bigger project, and he got one. Today, Nirvana Homeopathy and Tvamm Elixirs are familiar names in health circles. He created a holistic health brand that values authentic benefit over just pretty packaging by incorporating his experience as a medicine man into branding. His story? It's not just about healing bodies. It's about changing systems.

So, what exactly do these journeys tell us? If you are picturing suits, success, and LinkedIn titles... stop. What matters is not the beautiful surface; it is the actual work.
All these alumni made different choices in how they approached the next stage of their careers. Some changed industries. Others moved into leadership roles that didn't exist when they were students. They did not follow a template; they rewrote one. They show us that success is not a linear journey after college. It is not a ladder; it is a jungle gym. You will turn around, fall, change your mind, and start again, but you will also grow.

And If You’re Still on Campus… Here is the big secret: your story has already begun. You are figuring out what your story is going to be, whether you are doodling in a chemistry lecture, or leading a university fest, or making something out of the weirdest materials in your hostel room... this is it. And when you eventually leave the gates of your campus, keep in mind the journey of alumni.
