New Delhi: Patna University, applications process for admission to its regular and self-financing Undergraduate programs for the academic session 2023-26 is currently put on pause. The undergraduate courses are offered in various departments. The application form will soon be released on the official website.  

Patna University offers UG programs are offered under the CBCS system in the discipline of Arts, Commerce, Science, Computer Application, Fine Arts, Social Work and Business Administration. Interested candidates can apply for the bachelor’s programs at the official portal of Patna University at pup.ac.in.

To apply for Patna University Admission 2023, candidates must have cleared their higher secondary examination in the relevant field with a 45% score in the relevant field from a UGC-recognised board.

Candidates looking forward to applying for admission to Patna University UG Program can now check the detailed Eligibility Criteria & Selection Proces below:

For BA(H) and BCom(H) program, candidates must have cleared  IA/ ISc/ ICom or 10+2 examination from UGC-recognised board with a 45% score. For BSc(H) program applicants must have cleared ISc or 10+2 with science with a 45% score from a UGC-recognised board.

BCA candidates must have cleared their HSC with Statistics/ Mathematics as one of the subjects with a 45% score from a recognised board. BBA/ BSc (Environmental Science) applicants must have cleared their HSC with a 45% score from a recognised board

For BSc in Biotechnology, the candidate should have cleared the HSC examination with Biology/ PCB/ PCMB discipline with a 45% score. For Bachelor in Mass Communication, Social Work, and Functional English, applicants must have cleared their HSC with a 45% score from a recognised board

The selection criteria for shortlisting students are based on the Patna University Common Entrance Test or PUCET examination.
