New Delhi: NIT Rourkela has announced the admissions open for a Certificate Course on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics. This a free certificate course under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 4.0 (PMKVY 4.0) Scheme starting on September 28, 2023. Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, NIT Rourkela has organized this program.

The Certificate Course on AI and Robotics at NIT Rourkela is a comprehensive program designed to provide participants with a solid foundation. PMKVY 4.0 is a flagship scheme provided by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and executed by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

The primary goal of this certification program is to students gain industry-relevant skills training that will help them in securing a better livelihood. Individuals with prior experience are also assessed and certified under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

As per the eligibility criteria, aspirants should have completed 2nd year of UG (UG Diploma) (UG Program of 3 or 4 years) (Engineering/ Science)) or completed 2nd-year diploma after 12th or previous relevant qualification of NSQF Level (NSQF Level 4) with 3 Years of experience relevant experience in relevant field.

The Foundation for Technology and Business Incubation at NIT Rourkela is providing a Skill Development Programme on AIML 2023. The Skill Development Programme on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) is scheduled from October 9 to October 14, 2023.

High-End Workshop on AI Techniques for Analysis and Control of Mechanical and Aerospace Systems sponsored by SERB will be conducted from September 25 to September 29, 2023. Experts who will be present at the program are from IITs/NITs/IIITs/other reputed institutions/industries. The program will be hosted by NIT Rourkela. PG/Ph. D. students can attend the program after shortlisting.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the pillars of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, or what is commonly known as Industry 4.0. The main objective of this workshop is to apply AI techniques in vibration control and vibration condition monitoring aspects of mechanical and aerospace systems.

The workshop will also offer various signal-processing techniques that are used for vibration analysis. It will also provide hands-on experience to the participants on various AI tools used in the industry for vibrational study.
