IIT2024 Global Conference Set to Illuminate Washington DC in January 2024; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Alumni from Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) from throughout the world, as well as other notable individuals, are expected to attend an event in the United States in January. PanIIT will host the IIT2024 Global Conference Program, which will highlight "Brand India."

The event will take place in the American capital of Washington, D.C., from January 12 to 14, 2024. PANIIT is an umbrella association that represents the IIT system's alumni network. 

The event's conversation will centre on the role of innovation and breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, sustainable energy, and medicine in creating a better future for everybody. 

Aside from IIT alumni, other renowned individuals will attend the event to discuss technology advancements, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, and cutting-edge medical achievements. 

In the current geopolitical environment, the importance of the US-India connection in technological innovation and security cooperation as a force for global good will also be highlighted.

Prior to the occasion, famous Indian American and IIT alumni Suresh Shenoy emphasised the importance and role of the IITs in the growth of India and the United States.

He clarified that the IITs have made substantial contributions to the development of both India and the United States. This event is not merely an alumni gathering but rather an occasion to promote and represent the image of India.

According to Atul Mathur, conference co-chair, they intend to invite notable individuals from many fields to discuss and develop sustainable technology for worldwide use.

Siddhartha Chowdhary, who serves as the Chairman of IIT 2024 and is also the CEO of Credence Management Solutions, stated that these conferences offer a platform for IIT alumni from across the globe to connect, engage in discussions, and collaboratively explore important topics encompassing technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, and their impact on global society.
