GTU Final Semester Examination: Objections Raised by students

Professor Navin Seth, the Vice-Chancellor of GTU stated that a group of students has complained that the results of the final semester examination have mistakes.

The students of GTU stated that students who got detained in the previous semester have scored good scores in the final semester examination which was conducted online.

The students also added that awarding 9 and 10 SPI to average students will cause injustice to the meritorious students whose efforts would be wasted.

The final semester examination conducted at GTU in August 2020 has some technical glitches and the examination was conducted in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format with no negative markings for incorrect answers.

Professor Seth informed that since the average students gained good marks, the students claim that the exam system has caused injustice to the meritorious students and GTU has decided to cancel the winter semester examination.
