The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Goa has released the Bachelor of Engineering (BE) Merit List 2026. The list is available on the official portal at dte.goa.gov.in. Candidates who registered for BE admissions in Goa can now check their rank.

The merit list ranks all eligible candidates who applied for first-year BE admission. It is based on the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2026 and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2026 scores. The list will serve as the basis for the upcoming centralised counselling rounds in Goa.

Candidates can access the official document directly through the DTE Goa website. The merit list contains the candidate name, application number, category, rank, and qualifying score.

Who Is Eligible to Appear in the Merit List?

Only candidates who registered for BE admission with DTE Goa are ranked. The applicant must hold a valid GCET 2026 score or a valid JEE Main 2026 rank. The candidate must also meet the qualifying marks requirement in Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level.

The Class 12 examination must include Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The third subject must be Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Technical Vocational. Candidates from outside Goa should check the domicile and quota rules mentioned in the official prospectus.

The merit list is available as a PDF document on the DTE Goa website. Candidates are advised to save a copy for future counselling rounds.

• Click on the latest update titled "Merit List for B.E."
• Open the PDF file named merbe2026.pdf.
• Use the search function to locate your application number.

What Happens After the Merit List?

The merit list is the gateway to the centralised counselling process. DTE Goa will conduct seat allotment based on the candidate's merit rank, category, and preference choices. The B.E. Admission Schedule 2026 was notified earlier on June 9, 2026.

Candidates must complete the online choice-filling process and select their preferred colleges and engineering branches in order of priority. Seats will then be allotted according to the published merit list.

Candidates must carry verified copies of the following documents during counselling and admission reporting:

• Class 10 mark sheet and passing certificate
• Class 12 mark sheet and passing certificate
• GCET 2026 scorecard or JEE Main 2026 scorecard
• School Leaving Certificate (SLC) and Transfer Certificate (TC)
• Goa Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
• SC/ST/OBC/EWS category certificate (if applicable)
• Aadhaar Card
• Recent passport-size photographs
