Central University of Tamil Nadu Introduces Four-Year ITEP; Apply till July 19; Check Details Here

New Delhi: The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) has introduced the Four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the academic year 2023-2024. The program has received approval from the prestigious National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE).

ITEP is designed to offer a holistic education to those who aspire to become teachers. By combining the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degrees, ITEP enables students to earn their qualifications in just four years, instead of the traditional five years required for separate degrees.

Candidates interested in the ITEP Teacher Training Program at CUTN Thiruvarur, must apply through the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Those who have already applied for Integrated B.Sc.B.Ed. at CUTN should re-apply via the NCET portal, @ncet.samarth.ac.in, before July 19, 2023. 

CUTN ITEP Admission 2023: Important Dates

The NCET-2023 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in 178 cities across India in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will be held in 13 different mediums. The last date to apply for the exam is July 19, 2023. The exam date will be announced soon, and admit cards can be downloaded three days prior to the exam.
