United We Stand 74th Republic Day Celebration at Regency

Republic Day: The country marks and celebrates the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect on 26 January 1950. The year 26th January, 2023 marks the 74th Republic Day. India is a land rich in culture and heritage, and the major Republic Day event showcases its cultural heritage and military prowess. On this jubilant occasion, Regency College of Culinary Arts and Hotel Management at the niche of hill top at khairtabad in Hyderabad celebrated 74th Republic Day with great zeal and Patriotism to honor the pride of the country.

Event of the Day:  The day was embarked with tri colour balloons and ribbons for the auspicious day. Team Regency along with the students engulfed in ethnic wear in the Republic day celebrations. College Principal Mr. P.Ramesh Kumar Reddy hoisted the flag and team joined for national anthem to pay tribute to the motherland, he stressed on the importance of constitution, rules to be followed so as to have a smooth and vigilant functions in the democratic country. Head of Department Ms. Uma Bala expressed perspectives on Republic Day and noted that college not only encourages prospective and pragmatic studies but also co-curricular activities simultaneously.Regents recalled the significance of the auspicious Republic day and the current trends in the hospitality industry. 

Culturals: The cultural team took over the stage with their exhilarating performances. 5th sem boys and girls and Craft Course students rocked the floor on the patriotic songs generated loyalty, patriotism and showcased the rich historical, traditional and cultural heritage. Kshamitha (5th Sem) and Kurbin (CCCB) beautified the premises with their mesmerizing voice triggered in the many emotions; pride, love and respect for the country.

Competitions: To promote and to spread the awareness of patriotism among the students college conducted various competitions to 5th sem and CCCB students. They were sensitised on the following competitions:

Eventually, regents thanked the management for giving them such a favorable opportunity to celebrate and make the most memorable event.
