What were the challenges that you faced while inculcating this program in your curriculum?

There was very little awareness about the prospects in this field, and most people were confused between beauticians and makeup courses. We had to create awareness about the makeup artist profession and how big and growing the industry is.

How do you train yourself/faculty to deliver this program to the students?

We appoint faculty who have immense knowledge in the field and we follow a standard process internally to ensure our training is designed to meet the market standards. Our training methods include research on curriculum and set process of teaching each topic, audio Visual Training methods, practical Training, exclusive student handouts, evaluating students output regularly and guest Lectures by industry experts.

How do you tend to build an industry connect by offering this program?

As Hamstech is already in the creative field, we have a vast industry network in the makeup field. The Hamstech Fashion Show is one of the most anticipated student shows in the city, and our makeup students will get to participate on such a big platform. Not just that, Hamstech has now also ventured into filmmaking, which will open up countless opportunities for our students.
