How do you strategize the curriculum and how often it gets updated to make it beneficial to the students? 

The curriculum we follow is as per the directions of the Macau University, West Bengal. We follow the syllabus provided by the university. We focus on upgrading the course syllabus as per the requirements of the industry. 

How do you try to bring a practical approach towards the subject and make it industry oriented?

To bring a practical approach towards the subject, we focus more on practicals. For this we have a total setup with fully equipped practical layers in the college so that the students can do their practicals and they can be ready for the industry in the future. 

How does the college enhance the skill of the faculty and prepares them according to the industry?

Our faculty members are always keen to upgrade their knowledge. For this, we frequently arrange industry visits for our teachers so that they will be able to know the latest updates in the hotel industry. Because we have many friends of ours who are working in the hotel industry and we regularly visited the industry as well as the college also brings some very renowned hotels here to update the faculties with some very good faculty development programs.

What would you like people to know about your institute that they may not know?

The first thing is that the faculty members of our institute are very qualified. There are many jobs in various hotels as well as in crews and various industries and education colleges also like hotel management. And we also have a very well equipped library and a well equipped practical lab. 

What valuable advice would you like to give to the students for prospering in their career here?

We offer job oriented courses in our college. I would rather say that after passing out their HS, they should take a good career path so that they can grow up in their life. They should have determined that after doing my HS, I would go in this practical-oriented course or job-oriented course or I should go with the studies and all. So, my advice to the students is that you should be very serious about your career goals and work accordingly.
