XIM General Management Aptitude Test (X-GMT) is a University level entrance exam which is conducted by the Odisha based XIM University to grant admission in the MBA and E-MBA course, which the university offers in various specializations including Business Management. Human Resource Management, Rural Management, Sustainability Management and Business Finance etc. In other terms, students can pursue their dream MBA program after qualifying the X-GMT test.

X-GMT is conducted every year and registration normally starts from July and ends in December for an academic year. XIM University is still accepting applications for the X-GMT entrance test and the last date to apply for it is December 8, 2023. Below mentioned are the important dates for X-GMT 2024:

X-GMT 2024 Eligibility and Selection Criteria

Candidates who wish to pursue the 2-years duration MBA program from XIM University need to appear for the entrance test, but before that they need to fulfill the below mentioned criteria while filling the admission application form, as defined by the University.

X-GMT 2024 Application Form

X-GMT 2024 Applications are open till December 8, 2023. And applications for entrance tests are accepted through online mode and the exam too will be conducted in electronic mode. Aspiring students and working professionals can fill out the application form online on the official website of XIM University. 

How to Apply for X-GMT 2024?

1. Visit the official website of the college at https://xim.edu.in/.
2. Go to the admission section and click on apply now.
3. Register yourself by filling in your basic credentials in the new user section and updating an active email ID and Phone No.
4. Login using your ID and Password sent over registered email.
5. Fill up the admission application form by updating your personal details, education and work experiences and program you want to enroll in.
6. Upload necessary documents, photo and signature.
7. Write a detailed Statement of Purpose.
8. Pay the application fee of INR 1700/- for the first option, and INR 400 each for the subsequent options, using the payment gateway provided by the University.
9. Submit the duly filled application form. 

After the successful acceptance of the students application form, candidates need to visit the designated exam center to give the online test on the scheduled date and time. 

X-GMT 2024 Exam Pattern

X-GMT is a computer-based test conducted in online mode for a duration of 2 Hours. The medium of examination will be English. The students need to attempt the Multiple Choice Questions which will be distributed in 4 sections namely Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Verbal Reasoning and Logical Reasoning (VA & LR), Data Interpretation (DI), Emotional Quotient and General Awareness (EQ & GA). 

Also, all 4 sections will appear in random order and there will be a defined time limit allocated for each section. So even if a candidate finishes any section before time, they need to wait for the timer to end and the next section to start. The type and nature of questions will be similar to entrance tests of other management courses. 

For each correct answer, the candidate will get 3 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. But there will be no marks for any unanswered question. Given below is the X-GMT 2024 Exam Pattern:
