What keeps you connected with the education sector and how has your experience been so far with the institute?

Technical education serves as the backbone of any education system. We have been dedicated to this form of education for over 21 years, and I have personally been involved in this field for the same duration. I have collaborated with various institutions and have had the privilege of instructing a diverse range of students. The emotional and technical connections forged with these students over the years are profound.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

In my philosophy of leadership, I emphasize individuals prioritizing honesty in their roles. This is the first and foremost aspect. Additionally, they must maintain punctuality in their respective positions. Individuals must balance their personal and professional lives at all times. Having a balance between both worlds would ensure the individual is not getting burned out at work and is dedicating sufficient time to family as well.

What are your roles and responsibilities?

I am working as a Professor and Dean for the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Additionally, I hold the role of NBA (National Board of Accreditation) coordinator for this institution. In the upcoming month, specifically on the 23rd and 24th of December 2023, we are organizing an International Conference on Machine Intelligence and Cyber-Physical Systems (ICMICPS-2023). I am taking on the responsibility of serving as the head coordinator for this conference.

Which extracurricular activities are organized in your college for students?

We organize various activities, including sports events and NSS (National Service Scheme) services. Additionally, we arrange different kinds of industry visits. We also conduct training programs for various activities. As mentioned earlier, we are hosting a conference ICMICPS-2023 that will bring together academicians from around the world. The aim is to facilitate the exchange of ideas among participants during the conference.

What is the top priority of your institute in the next 10 years?

In the next five to ten years, our priority is to establish ourselves as a brand in the central region. Currently, we are making significant progress in the Indore region, aiming to be among the top private engineering colleges. However, our goal is to go even further and become the top-ranked among all private institutions in the Indore region. Following this, we plan to expand our influence to the Madhya Pradesh region, targeting a ranking under 100 in the NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework). We are also currently in the process of applying for NBA (National Board of Accreditation) this month. Within one or two months, we anticipate receiving its accreditation. Subsequently, we will pursue accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Moreover, we are committed to focusing on supporting weaker students and finding ways to provide them with beneficial opportunities.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?

A key point to emphasize is that if children respect and heed their parents' advice, they are likely to navigate their lives more successfully. Children should prioritize listening to their parents, considering the wealth of knowledge and guidance they offer. In an educational institution, students encounter teachers, faculty, and various staff members. Effective communication with these individuals is essential. People generally seek three things in an educational setting: knowledge, skills, and attitude (or, behavior). The significance lies in how students interact with society, share acquired knowledge, exhibit developed skills, and present their attitudes to the public. We aim to foster knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes to empower our students as they progress in their educational journey and beyond.
