What keeps you connected with the education sector, and how has your experience been with the institute so far?

As an administrator and academician, my motivation to be in the education sector lies in nurturing and contributing to the successful careers of young talents and serving the country as well. It is a win-win situation for both parties because I am a person who is always ready to learn. When we talk about the younger generation, they are undoubtedly a powerhouse of energy, and we can also learn from their talents and perspectives.

What is the role of a good leader according to you?

I would assert that a leader is a leader, and there is no room for good or bad adjectives in my view; either you are a leader or not. It’s a binary term. Because a leader is always born to make the life of the people no matter how talented the people are. A leader must provide them with a path leading them to a destination they have decided for themselves.

What are the challenges faced by you as the director?

It is a tough question for me because I believe I am leading the best team. However, I do face challenges at times. I often compare my institute with the world’s top-ranking institutions, and in that context, changing the mindset of faculty, staff members, and students becomes a challenge.

Having held important position in your college, you must have some important lessons to give to the students. Would you like to share some of such lessons?

I always believe in values. Therefore, I promote ethical practices among the faculty, staff members, and students. In my opinion, honesty is the best policy, and self-discipline is the best discipline. Remain honest with yourself first and adopt ethical practices. I motivate people to be ethical through their actions, not just their words. Number two: I always tell them to prioritize their health, for that do meditation, and yoga, eat healthy food, meet their loved ones regularly, and go for a walk daily. Number three: Value the time, develop time management skills, make the best use of your time, set smart goals within a feasible time frame, and achieve, and celebrate them. Number four: Be Social, socialize more, and make a network, your network is your net worth, it doesn’t mean only social media
