What are the factors that make this program the best for the students to opt for?

The main factors in choosing this program are Electrons and Communication Engineering. The student can opt for both hardware as well as software jobs. So, when a student studies electronics and communication engineering programs, he can easily mold his career into software. If he is not interested, he can opt for hardware.

What are the best practices in the program you are doing?

The best practices in this program are not only taking theory classes, but also conducting hands-on experiences for the students. Not only hands-on experiences, we are also conducting workshops for the students to make the students industry-ready.

How does the program ensure that students are being prepared for the future?

Our branch, ECE, is an evergreen branch because the students who take this branch can have a bright future in the semiconductor industry. It is evergreen and in research, there are a lot of opportunities for the students who are studying this program.

How do you tend to build an industry connection with the program?

By conducting workshops and hands-on experience and also taking the feedback from the industry persons and placement cell we are incorporating all the suggestions which are given by the industry persons in our curriculum or our workshops to make the students industry-ready.

What were the challenges that you faced while inculcating this program into your curriculum?

The major challenge while we are inculcating this program is that industry-ready subjects are not included in our curriculum. So they are studying in the basic sciences only. So, we have to incorporate industry-ready subjects in our curriculum.

What are the types of projects that the students are working on through this program?

Mainly the type of projects are simulation projects and some students are doing hardware projects also.

What are the benefits and career options after pursuing this course?

The main benefits by studying this Electronics and Communication Engineering program is, as I said earlier, they can opt for both software jobs and also hardware jobs. And they can go for, if they are not interested in software jobs or hardware jobs, they can go for research also. So there are a lot of opportunities for research in semiconductor or quantum engineering, like that.
