BBAU will take admissions to PhD for 2024-25 based on the marks obtained in JRF/NET/any other National Level Test score, academic performance, and personal interaction. Read the article for more details.
Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow has released the list of candidates selected for the PhD interview for the 2024-25 academic year. The interview cum counselling will be conducted from January 31 to February 7, 2025, as per the program schedule.
Admission to PhD programs will be made based on the marks obtained in JRF/NET/any other National Level Test score, academic performance, and personal interaction.
The interview (30% weightage) will be based on an allotment of 5 marks on academics, 10 marks on the competence of the candidate for the research proposal, and 15 marks for personal interaction.

BBAU PhD Interview 2024-25 Documents Required
Candidates have to bring the following documents in original and one set of self-attested photocopies for the interview/document verification:
- Four copies of passport-size photograph
- All original mark sheets and one set photocopy of degrees including (10th, 12th, UG, PG, NET, JRF, M.Phil, etc.)
- Transfer Certificate/ Migration Certificate/ Character Certificate
- Valid Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Gap Certificate/Affidavit (If required)
- Medical Certificate (under physically challenged quota)
- NOC from the employer in case the applicant is working
- Six copies of the Research Proposal (in interested research area) - Mandatory
The candidates have to attend the interview cum counselling personally on specific dates and times. Hostels will be made available to students based on criteria decided by the BBAU. Candidates have to make separate applications to DSW in the format available on the university website (bbau.ac.in).
