NIMCET 2025 Eligibility
Nationality:
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit:
- There is no stated age limit to be eligible for the exam
Academic Qualification:
- Candidates must have studied B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT/ B.E/ B.Tech of minimum three years full-time from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects.
- They must have minimum 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scales (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST).
- Candidates in the final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible. They must present the passing certificate before September 15, 2025.
Number of Attempts:
- There is no limit on the number of times a candidate appears for NIMCET.

How to fill NIMCET Application Form 2025?
Step 1- Registration
- Visit the official website nimcet.in
- Register using Name, Email ID, Phone Number and Security Question
- A confirmation mail will be sent to the registered email ID
- Click on “confirm my account” on the email received.
- Reset the password
Step 2- Filling NIMCET Application Form

- Click on NIMCET Application Form link.
- Fill in the following information asked:

- Marks Information
- Test Center Choice (Top 3 preference) Know More
- Click on “Submit”
- Review all the information provided. If any changes are required, go back and make the changes else click on “Submit”
Step 3- Uploading the Documents
- Upload the duly attested scanned images of the following documents in the stated specifications:

Step 4- Payment of Application Fee
- The application fee for NIMCET 2025 can only be paid online using Netbankin/Debit Card/Credit Card. Application fee to be paid by candidates is as follows:

NIMCET Application Form Correction 2025
NIT Jamshedpur will provide NIMCET 2025 form correction facility tentatively from 2nd week of April 2025. Incase candidates have made any errors can edit their application. Candidates must also note that the correction is a one-time facility, and no further edit options will be entertained. Given below are the steps to be followed –
- Candidates will have to draft an email to nimcet@nitrr.ac.in with CC to th.nimcet21@nitrr.ac.in, requesting to unlock their NIMCET 2025 application form. It must be noted that the email must be sent from their registered email ID for NIMCET 2025 only.
- Candidates are required to mention their name and NIMCET application number. A downloaded confirmation page of NIMCET application form along with other documents has to be attached to the email. Candidates will also have to mention the mistakes that have to be corrected in the application form.
- The authorities will then unlock the NIMCET application form and the candidates will be intimated through email.
- Candidates can access their application form and make the required changes/corrections.
