NIMCET 2025 Expected Cutoff and Safe Score?
As per Amit Katiyar Sir, most of the students faced difficulty in the maths section, students could not attempt more than 20–25 questions in Math, and even among those attempts, accuracy was uncertain.
According to feedback, 450–500 marks are most likely to get an all-India top rank in NIMCET 2025, with 240 marks in Math (20+ correct), 150 in Reasoning (25+ correct), and 90 in English (15+ correct). A mark range of 300–350 (15 correct in Math, 20 in Reasoning, 10 in English) is reasonably safe for getting admission in good NITs. The majority of candidates are likely to score between 200–270, so even a 1–2 mark variation is important for ranking.
NIMCET Cutoff 2025 College–wise
The expected NIMCET Cutoff 2025 of the various NITs shows that top institutes like NIT Trichy and NIT Warangal will have lower opening ranks (30–105 for general) but higher closing ranks, reflecting the most competitive campuses of NIT.
The OBC-NCL candidates are expected to have the cutoffs ranging from 176 to 836, whereas the SC and ST categories will have higher closing ranks, at 3,305 and 4,895, respectively. PWD candidates are expected to have a lower cutoff ranging from 8997-1778.
Overall, while top NITs will be highly competitive with the lowest opening ranks in the Round 1, especially for the General category. The reserved category candidates will have more opportunities in other NITs.
