The registration for B.E/B.Tech courses started at HSTES counselling portal, hstes.org.in on May 29, 2024. Previously the deadline to fill the application form was set as June 24th. However, the authority extended the last date to fill out the registration form by July 25, 2024 (till 11:59 PM).
The first thing first, students must have a valid JEE Main paper- 1 score. Apart from that clearing class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Students can also apply by having degrees in the following subjects:

What are the Eligibility Criteria for HSTES 2024 Counselling?
Candidates have to ensure that they fulfil the below-mentioned criteria to be eligible for HSTES counselling registration:
- Must have passed the Class 12 exam, which included Chemistry/, Biotechnology/ Biology, and Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in addition to Technical Vocational and Chemistry.
- To be considered for admission to BE/BTech (Bio-Technology), a candidate should pass the Class 12 examination with Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science.
- Completed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology from an accredited school or university is also considered as eligible.
- The minimum score required for candidates was 45% (or 40% for those in the reserved category).
- The HSTES accepts only JEE Main scores for Haryana B.Tech admissions.
How to Register for HSTES Counselling 2024?
The registration process is conducted online at the portal, hstes.org.in. The counselling is conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Haryana. Firstly, students need to register themselves by providing JEE Main 2024 registration number, and roll number.
