GAT-B section has been divided into into two sections. Section A consists of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Section B consists of Basic Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology and allied areas as per the syllabus given.
GAT-B consists of a total of 160 questions. 60 questions needed to be answered from Section A and Section B. Each question of Section A carries 1 mark and section B carries 3 marks. The total mark of GAT- B is 240 marks. There is a negative marking of 0.5 mark is there.

GAT-B 2024 Mode & Medium of Exam
The GAT-B 2024 is a computer-based test (CBT). The medium of question paper in the examination is in English only. Candidates planning to take the GAT-B 2024 exam must remember the following details:
- Candidates must reach the examination center at least an hour before the exam commences.
- Candidates must ensure the details on their computer screen match the data printed on their admit card.
- The test is entirely online and closes automatically when the time is up.
