NBEMS released the GPAT cutoff marks 2024 on the official website at natboard.edu.in. Students can check the category wise marks here. Earlier, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the GPAT 2024 Result on its official website – natboard.edu.in. Candidates who have appeared for Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2024 can now check their results online.
- GPAT 2024 exam conducted successfully on June 8, 2024 from 2 PM to 5 PM.
- Unlike last year, the exam conducted in a single shift this year.
- This year, the exam difficulty is reported to be on the easy to moderate side.
- NBEMS introduced time-bound sections in GPAT 2024 exam in the event of paper leak incident in NEET 2024.
GPAT 2024 exam is conducted online in CBT mode. GPAT 2024 syllabus covers major core areas of BPharm courses. Total of 125 MCQs are asked with a maximum score of 500. According to the revised GPAT exam pattern, 25 questions with 36 minutes will be allotted per section. For correct attempts, a +4 mark is given and 1 mark is deducted per incorrect attempt.
The validity of GPAT 2024 scorecard will be of three years. Prior to the publication of the result, the authority published GPAT provisional answer key with a payment of INR 200. If your score is similar to another aspirant, at first, the one with less number of negative responses will be considered for merit, followed by older age one. For SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories, 15%, 7.5%, 27%, and 10% of seats are reserved.

How to Download GPAT Admit Card 2024?
You can download your GPAT 2024 admit card from June 3rd by following these steps after visiting the website, i.e., natboard.edu.in:
- Go to “Download GPAT Admit Card 2024”
- Provide your user ID and password followed by a captcha code
- Enter the security pin as displayed and click on the ‘Submit’ option
- Download and take a printout of your GPAT 2024 admit card
GPAT 2024 Application Form Correction
The successfully registered candidates making application fee payments, can modify their application forms from May 11 to May 14, 2024. To modify the filled-in application form, you need to follow the below-mentioned steps:
- Go to the official website, natboard.edu.in
- Navigate to “GPAT 2024 Application Form Correction” section
- Login with your application number, and password
- Modify any fields except your name, mobile number, email ID, nationality, and test city preference
- Preview again and click on ‘Submit’
- Take a printout of the same
GPAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
As per GPAT eligibility, you must be an Indian-residing candidate. You must have a 4 year’s Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and 10+2 qualification to appear for the test. If you are a final year BPharm student and the result is awaiting, you are also eligible for the test.
How to Fill GPAT 2024 Application Form?
Approximately 65,000 students registered for GPAT 2024 exam. Filling GPAT application form is an online process. The process to fill GPAT 2024 application form is:
- Click on the “To Register” option after visiting the official website
- Provide your name, date of birth, gender, nationality, email ID, and mobile number
- Click on “Generate OTP” followed with verification process
- After successful registration, your user ID and password will be generated
- Use it to log in and fill rest of the application form

- Payment of GPAT application fee

GPAT 2024 Exam Pattern
NBEMS has introduced a time-bound system in GPAT 2024. To be precise, there will be a sectional time limit instead of a unified 3-hour duration. Now, let’s see the revised GPAT exam pattern:
- Mode of Exam: The test will be conducted in an online CBT mode
- Sections in Paper: There will be a total of 5 sections, viz., Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Allied Subjects, Pharmaceutics & Allied Subjects, Pharmacognosy & Allied Subjects, Pharmacology & Allied Subjects, and other subjects of the B.Pharm course
- Number of Questions: As per the revised exam pattern, there will be 25 questions in each of the five sections
- Sectional Time-Bound Limit: For every 5 sections, 36 minutes will be allotted. You cannot proceed to the next section until the allotted time is over.
- Total Marks: For 125 questions, a total of 500 marks have been allotted
- Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, a +4 mark is awarded, 1 mark is deducted, and 0 for incorrect answering

NBEMS will release GPAT 2024 answer key is OUT. The steps to download GPAT 2024 preliminary answer key are as follows:
- Go to the official website, i.e., natboard.edu.in
- Click on “Login for GPAT 2024”
- Enter Application Number, Date of Birth or Password, and also the Security Pin.
- Click on the “Sign In” option.
- GPAT Answer Key 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the official answer key in a PDF format and take a print out of the same.
Note: In case, you want to challenge the provisional answer key, you can do the same by making a payment of INR 200 per question.
When will GPAT 2024 Result be Declared?

Is there a Tie Breaking Policy in GPAT 2024?
In the event of two or more students obtaining similar scores in GPAT examination, the following tie-breaking rules are implemented to determine the merit:
- At first, candidates with a lesser number of negative approaches are considered
- Secondly, the candidates of older age will be considered for merit

Registration kab honge gpat 2023 ka
NTA has not released the official notification for GPAT 2023. But the application process for GPAT 2023 is expected to begin in the final week of February 2023 and the examination to be conducted in April 2023.
