GAT B 2024: NTA published GAT-B 2024 results on the official website on May 24, 2024. You can view and download your GAT-B 2024 scorecard by entering your respective application number and date of birth. This year, the exam has been conducted in 54  cities across India on April 20, 2024. We have provided the direct link for the same in this article.

  • GAT-B 2024 cut-off percentile for the general category is 52.92%
  • For those belonging to SC/ST categories, the cut-off percentiles are 25% and 27% respectively
Department of Biotechnology released a category-wise merit list on their website, i.e., dbtindia.gov.in. As per the list, Siddhant Bhardwaj obtained the 98.13 percentage in this year’s GAT-B 2024 exam. The admission process will begin from June 1, 2024.

GAT-B Results 2024

NTA will publish GAT-B 2024 result on the official website. The merit list of GAT-B 2024 consists of the rank acquired by candidates based on their performances in the entrance examination. The students who have appeared in the exam will be able to check their results and download their rank cards by visiting the official website and entering their login credentials.

The participating institutions in the admission process of GAT-B will release the waiting list post the result announcement. The waiting list for GAT-B will be made based on the candidate's rank which is used for admissions by the participating universities.

How to Check GAT B 2024 Result?

  • Refer to the official website- rcb.res.in.
  • Tap on the rank card icon.
  • The candidates are supposed to log in using their credentials like registration number and date of birth, and then click on submit button
  • The rank card/result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Candidates can download the GAT B result card for future use.

GAT-B 2024 Admit Card

To download your GAT-B 2024 admit card your registration number and password are required. In case, you face any issue while downloading the admit card, contact NTA helpline at dbt@nta.ac.in. 

GAT B admit card mentions name, roll number, photograph of the candidate, date, reporting time, and enxam center address. With this, it also mentions exam day guidelines which is mandatory to follow at the alloted center.

GAT-B 2024 Exam Pattern

As per GAT-B 2024 Exam Pattern, there are 160 questions in total but you need to attempt 120 in all. In Part A, answering 60 questions is compulsory while in Part B you need to answer 60 out of 100 question. The following table mentions the marking scheme of both Part A and Part B.

GAT-B 2024 Preparation Strategy

Following a proper study routine and mock tests will help you improve your accuracy and time management skills. First of all give important topics a higher priority and spend at least 4-5 hours on a daily basis. GAT B 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for GAT-B 2024 exam, candidates must check the minimum eligibility criteria for different posts.

Course Eligibility Criteria
M.Tech Candidates applying for M.Tech programmes must have a B.Tech/BE degree in the respective stream with at least 60% (General, EWS & OBC category) or 55% (SC,ST & PwD) aggregate by the participating university.
M.Sc The candidates applying must have completed their graduation in 10+2+3 pattern in the respective field with a minimum of 60% (General, EWS & OBC category) or 55% (SC,ST & PwD) in total from a recognized university.
M.VSc Animal Biotechnology The candidates applying for M.VSc Animal Biotechnology programme, candidates must have a B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized university with at least CGPA of 6.60 in 10.00 scale or 2.60 on a 4.00 scale or 60% marks in the traditional system. Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST) are supposed to get a 5.60 on the 10.00 scale, 2.20 on 4.00 scale, and 50% marks.

  • Refer to the official website of GAT-B 2024- dbt.nta.ac.in.
  • After registration, submit all the important details like name, mobile number, email id, communication address, etc., and then click on the save icon.
  • The candidates have to upload the latest passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  • Fill in all the important details, professional qualifications, and experience details, and then click on the save icon.
  • Cross-check all the important details submitted while filling out the GAT B application form.
  • Now the candidates have to pay the GAT-B application fee using any of the payment options like Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking, etc.
