ASSAM CEE Exam Pattern 2024: As per the pattern, the entrance test will be carried out via offline mode with pen and paper. The question paper will be of objective type wherein you will have to mark the answers in the given OMR sheet with a black ballpoint pen.
Four marks will be awarded for every correct answer and -1 mark for every wrong answer. Each section will be for 160 marks for 40 questions. The total marks allotted in the question paper is 480. The examination conducting authority designs the questions to check their knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and mathematics till 10+2.

ASSAM CEE Exam pattern 2024: Section-wise
ASSAM CEE 2024 entrance test is conducted via offline mode by Dibrugarh University, Assam at state-level. A total of 120 multiple choice questions will be prompted in the test, which needs to be solved in 3 hours.
The three sectioned Assam CEE 2024 question paper has an equally distributed weightage as tabulated below:

ASSAM CEE 2024 Marking Scheme
Assam Common Entrance Exam 2024 will be of 480 marks in total. The question paper will be further divided into 3 sections which have 120 questions altogether carrying equal weightage. Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry will be for 40 marks each. Few Assam CEE 2024 marking scheme that candidates must not are bulleted below:
- There will be negative marking in the test. 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.
- There will be three sections in Assam CEE 2023 question paper, that is physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
- The syllabus for the question paper will be the latest curriculum of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council/NCERT.
- There would be only one correct answer out of the four options for a question given in the question paper.

ASSAM CEE 2024 Syllabus
The ASSAM CEE 2024 examination syllabus is segregated into three sections respectively and it is the mandatory eligibility for applicants to have studied Science in their 10+2 so that they will be able to understand the syllabus much more easily. The syllabus decided by the examination conducting authority needs to be precisely understood by students who will apply to score good marks and get admission in desired college/institution for technical education in Assam.

ASSAM CEE 2024: Important Instructions
There are few guidelines, bulleted below, proposed by Dibrugarh University, Assam that applicants need to abide by to avoid any sort of issue on the day of examination:
- Candidate must mark all their answers on the OMR sheet.
- The round bubble against the answer number must be darkened properly with a black ballpoint pen.
- Candidates must not make a mark or write anything on the question paper as well as OMR sheet.
- Candidates will be granted sometime before starting the exam, to read the instructions carefully mentioned on the first page of the ASSAM CEE 2024 question paper.
- After the completion of the test, the OMR sheet must be handed it over to the concerned invigilator.
