INI CET 2024 Exam Pattern in Detail
AIIMS administers INI CET Exam and there will be a single question paper consisting of multiple-choice questions based on the syllabus of MBBS programmes. The objective questions will be based on the syllabus of M.B.B.S and BDS programmes for MS/MD and MDS respectively.
- Mode: The exam will be conducted through online (CBT) mode.
- Duration: 180 minutes will be provided for the MD/MS courses and 90 minutes for MDS course.
- Language: The exam will be asked in English language.
- Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam.
- Number of Questions: 200 questions will be asked from MD/MS and 90 questions form MDS.
- Subjects or Syllabus: The objective questions for MS/MD will be included from the subjects taught at M.B.B.S level. The objective questions for MDS will be included from the subjects taught at BDS level.
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be provided for one correct answer.
- Negative Marking: -1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

INI CET 2024 Marking Scheme
The conducting body AIIMS will employ negative marking for evaluation. 1/3rd marks will be deducted for incorrect answer from the total.
- For multiple-choice questions, out of four candidates should mark only one option as the answer.
- The marking scheme involves negative marking where every correct answer will add one mark and an incorrect answer will deduct 1/3rd marks from the total.
- No marks will be allotted or deducted for unanswered questions.

INI CET 2024 Exam Day Instructions
- The mode of examination is online i.e. computer-based test. INI CET aspirants should take a few mock tests as experience.
- The test will begin exactly at the time mentioned on the INI CET Admit Card. A prior announcement will be made by the invigilator.
- The duration of the exam is 3 hours for MS/MD and 1.5 hours for MDS
- All questions will carry equal marks.
- There will be only one correct answer for each question from the given four options.
- Negative marking scheme will be employed for evaluating the answers. Applicants should only answer the question if they are sure about it.
- Unanswered questions will not affect the total marks
- One mark will be allotted for each correct answer while 1/3rd marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Applicants are required to sign the attendance sheet.
- Admit card should be carried along with a photo identity proof.
