AIIMS PG exam has been replaced by INI CET exam. INI CET 2024 exam for the July session is scheduled on May 19, 2024. INI CET 2024 admit card releasing date is May 13, 2024. The exam is conducted for admission into MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and MDS courses.

As per INI CET 2024 exam pattern is online computer-based. The question paper includes both single correct-choice and multiple correct-choice questions. You will be asked for a total of 200 questions carrying +1 mark each. There is a provision of -1/3 per incorrect answer, however, unattended questions are marked as 0.

AIIMS PG Eligibility Criteria

AIIMS PG (INI CET) 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for appearing at INI CET 2024 exam has been provided by us below:

  • Must possess an MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and BDS degree for MDS courses from a university accredited by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India.
  • Completed the required period of 12 months of compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before 31st January 2024 for all INIs. Candidates who complete their internship after 31st January, 2024 are not eligible for Registration in this examination
  • The minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST categories is 50% in aggregate
  • The minimum qualifying marks for OBC/EWS categories is 55% in aggregate
  • For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates the minimum aggregate as aforementioned will be applicable for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply
  • The eligibility of Sponsored Candidates concerning the minimum marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations will be the same as for candidates mentioned above
  • For Indian National candidates who have graduated from foreign Universities, marks obtained in the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE), shall be considered instead of aggregate marks. The minimum qualifying marks is similar in this scenario also.

  • Visit the official website, i.e., aiimsexams.ac.in
  • Navigate to the “Academic Course” section
  • Click on ‘INI CET 2024’
  • Now click on “Registration & Basic Candidate Information and Generation of Code”
  • Enter your name
  • Provide your valid email ID and mobile number
  • Choose your course (MD/ MS/ MCh/6 years, DM/6 years, or MDS)
  • Upload your photograph, signature, and left thumb impression

INI CET 2024 Counselling

INI CET 2024 counselling process is held in four rounds. The tentative number of seats available in each specialty for the July 2024 session will be uploaded separately. To appear for INI CET 2024 counselling session, you need to register following the below-mentioned steps:

  • Enter your login information, including registration ID, Registration Unique Code (RUC), password, and captcha image.

The eligibility criteria for AIIMS is based on the aggregate percentage in all years of your qualifying examination. To be eligible, you need to have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in your qualifying exam. This includes all the years of your degree program, not just the final year.

The overall cost of attending AIIMS Delhi for five years, including hostel and mess fees, is INR 6,865. The average cost of attending AIIMS for MBBS ranges from INR 5,000 to INR 22,300.
