AIIMS PG exam has been replaced by INI CET exam. INI CET 2025 exam for the July session is scheduled on May 18, 2025.The exam is conducted for admission into MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and MDS courses.
- The INI CET 2025 July Session application process is expected to start from 2nd week of March 2025.

As per INI CET 2025 exam pattern is online computer-based. The question paper includes both single correct-choice and multiple correct-choice questions. You will be asked for a total of 200 questions carrying +1 mark each. There is a provision of -1/3 per incorrect answer, however, unattended questions are marked as 0.

AIIMS PG (INI CET) 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for appearing at INI CET 2025 exam has been provided by us below:
- Must possess an MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and BDS degree for MDS courses from a university accredited by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India.
- Completed the required period of 12 months of compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before 31st January 2025 for all INIs. Candidates who complete their internship after 31st January, 2025 are not eligible for Registration in this examination
- The minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST categories is 50% in aggregate
- The minimum qualifying marks for OBC/EWS categories is 55% in aggregate
- For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates the minimum aggregate as aforementioned will be applicable for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply
- The eligibility of Sponsored Candidates concerning the minimum marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations will be the same as for candidates mentioned above
- For Indian National candidates who have graduated from foreign Universities, marks obtained in the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE), shall be considered instead of aggregate marks. The minimum qualifying marks is similar in this scenario also.

INI CET 2025 Tie Breaking Policy
In the event of two or more students obtain same INI CET 2025 marks, a tie breaking policy will be implemented. As per INI CET 2025 tie-breaking policy:
- Candidates with fewer negative responses in INI CET 2025 exam, will be ranked
- If the tie persists, students of older age will be considered for ranking
INI CET 2025 Counselling

The eligibility criteria for AIIMS is based on the aggregate percentage in all years of your qualifying examination. To be eligible, you need to have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in your qualifying exam. This includes all the years of your degree program, not just the final year.
The overall cost of attending AIIMS Delhi for five years, including hostel and mess fees, is INR 6,865. The average cost of attending AIIMS for MBBS ranges from INR 5,000 to INR 22,300. You can't get admission to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for MBBS without taking an entrance exam. MBBS in AIIMS is for 5.6 years including a year of compulsory internship. In addition to working in clinical settings, recent graduates of MBBS programmes can pursue jobs in medical writing, medical consultancy, medical teaching, medical journalism, public health, healthcare administration, or even healthcare entrepreneurship.
