College timings should be less so that we can do self-study.Online teaching can also prove to be good now.Too much time is wasted due to attendance and assignments, hence the 75% attendance criteria should be removed.

Since every jee aspirant wants to get selected in IIT and persue their further graduation (B-tech) but unfortunately some of us are not get selected that's why we get admission in other government top colleges. In the collage every single guy works on himself for their bright future. In nowadays everything is getting online so teaching methods must become digitalized and must focus on skills like AutoCAD and construction planning etc. And as a engineering student must study for an hour after class so that score better in the exam.

Some faculties are excellent but some are not as per my expectations . Labs are conducted very well , some faculties are very friendly but some teachers don't complete the course on time which sometimes create difficulties in exams

I have chosen just for the PSUs and govt engineering services just because it provides more vacancies. On the other hand civil faculty of SGSITS Indore so good a civil course as well. For approx. each of you will get 3 professors for different topics and lab work-specific faculty is allotted. All professors are Ph.D. holders and GATE qualified and have impressive teaching styles. There are two mid-semester tests and an end sem and the difficulty is moderate.

Currently, here I am pursuing civil engineering course at SGSITS college, and in the 1st year btech program, we all have to study the same subjects which are. Basic electrical engineering, basic civil engineering, basic mechanical engineering, engineering drawing, chemistry, physics, mathematics 1and2, basic computer programming, basic industrial production engineering, and basic electronic communication engineering. And all the faculties are just really supporting and well experienced.
Exams were held timely and were good as the management of exam schedules and process is done by the college itself as it is an autonomous college funded by the state government of Madhya Pradesh and even result were provided timely.
SGSITS being an autonomous institute have a good command of its course curriculum, they often make the changes in the courses whichever is needed. SGSITS is full of resources, though some labs are a bit older the institute never compromised with the equipment availability proper equipment is setuped for better practical knowledge which many institutes lacks, in fact, SGSITS has its own seismometer proper labs for the students with better faculty guidance and assistants. Talking about exams in SGSITS - 75% attendance is a must from the ongoing semester and 65+ with some assignment but it only depends on faculty they can choose to detend from your semester exam. Internals play a crucial role in building good SGPA. Externals may FAIL you in the viva voice for not answering (heartbreaking) despite how much you scored in the theory paper. The course is completed before the exam and midsems will definitely be having a weightage in SGPA. Teachers are supportive.
