ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:- Aspirants seeking admission to a 5-year 6-month full-time mbbs program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute. Academic Requirement: Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination equivalent to 10+2 Higher secondary period of 12 years of study, the last two. years of study comprising physics chemistry and biology with english. A candidate for admission to a medical course must have 60% marks at +2 level in each of physics, chemistry, and biology for botany and zoology taken together. Entrance Exam: Candidate must qualify Neet entrance test.

The eligibility for the course is a 10+2 high school education with physics, chemistry, and biology/maths or any other equivalent qualifications as notified and approved by the Tamilnadu government. The application usually is called for after the Board and NEET examinations. Usually, the admission process begins at the end of August and classes start from October first week. The application shall be found on the official website. What I felt could be an improvement is that the document verification and fee payment could be done online itself.

I choose to study B.Pharma at MMC, Chennai because the institute was very good in terms of providing quality education services, well-versed faculty, spacious classroom facilities, cordial student:staff relationship, etc. Even the admission process went very smoothly where the admission authorities were very helpful. I got in thru AIPMT.admissions are conducted annually through NEET entrance now. We have to qualify in the top 500 in the country to get a seat in this college. Unless you have a reservation, for ug and pg courses, you have to be in the top ranks to secure a seat here. I opted for the course because it was my lifelong dream to be a doctor in the medical profession.
