The college is often too strict about grooming
The fees are a lot but the college is also very good

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel room has 2 beds, 2 closets, 2 study tables, 2 chairs, 1 bathroom, 1 toilet. The bathroom has shower and 24*7 hot water. The meal quality and Menu of the mess is really good, there's chicken and Paneer almost everyday of the week and Biryani on Sunday. Registration process for hostel is during admission and it's great for the price

With academics,we had a lot of fun events also which made our college life a better experience

Dislikes

The college life is good but manipal is a place where a lot of unnecessary activities also happen where you can fall in trouble for.
Because of diverse amount of people coming from every part of India, it can't be a little overwhelming

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel facility was modest. The room were small like any other hostel and the perm times were a little annoying but it was for our safety. Safe procedure were used when someone was sick and strict rules were applied like if you are late to the hostel for more than 3 times, they will put you on hostel arrest which will lose your attendance in class and a black strike on your profile card

The hostels are verry good and the mess food is also very good for hostels non ac its 112000 per year and for ac 145000.

Hostel Facilities:

the wgsha hostels are very old, small, grumpy etc,. the rooms are quite small and 30yrs old. the only good thing about it is they have a/c, wit hthe summers in manipal its quite uncomfortable in such rooms. the mess food is again satisfactory the food is availed by everyone who have and havent paid for it and at the end of the semester the paid ones have to shellout more money due to excessive consumption of mess food.

We are expected to work without any reward

Hostel Facilities:

Hostels in wgsha provide a room ac or non AC, washing machine access, mess facilities, and for girls there's also a gym The mealz are great, possibly the best accross other college messes You need to talk to the college hostel warden to check for availability and Hostels are always cheaper than other accomodation options I live in a PG in vidya ratna nagar

The curriculum of the course is excellent
The exposure is great, you get practical’s with exposure to all kinds of cases and co morbidities in kmc. You learn to counsel patients and do diet planning keeping in mind all comorbidities.

Dislikes

There was nothing specific that I disliked but since ours was the Covid batch, we missed out on a few opportunities. We did not have enough time and collect data on-site which impacted slightly. But they made us work on review paper and write one.

Campus Life:

Since ours was the Covid batch we did not get to experience much of the clubs and events. But overall it was a good experience. The college infrastructure is great. They have recently in 2021 built a new college which is top notch. The campus is lively, they celebrate each and every festival. They keep free food (sandhya) for all the students for various occasions like Onam, Ganesh Chaturthi etc. they have clubs and conduct activities often. They have a college library with access to most of the journals and great availability of books. Every classroom is having centralised AC. There is a gym near the college called MARENA. There are various clubs, non profit voluntary programs etc.

Hostel Facilities:

No I have not opted for hostel facility I was a localite and used to stay in a rented room. In Manipal rented rooms and PG facilities are available for students who are not able to get hostel facilities in the campus

Hostel Facilities:

Yes, for the first year hostel is compulsory and it costs 200000 rs excluding college fees. We have ac rooms with attached bathouroom and food os provided in the mess ( breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner).

Campus Life:

We have a lot of events continuesly happening in the college and we also have different clubs in our university that we can join to enjoy and be a part of better lifestyle and we can have a lot of fun in and around campus.

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel is very nice their are far better security in the hostel whole campus is covered with cctv cameras and biometric sensor. The care taker are also nice they also provide 24x7 hospital facility.They also have ac and non AC room as per your convenience.
