I have chosen hotel management on a professionality basis. The faculty-student ratio of each campus is around 1:50. All the facilities are industrial experience professional. Each year students have to appeal for 2 semesters and these are marked based on individual performance.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

For each year students have to pay 1,88,000 for two semesters. Each student can avail of different scholarships based on their financial salary by submitting an income certificate and can students avail of scholarships based on merit in secondary education.

I choose This industry because of my passion I like working in Food and Beverage service. I like to make different types of drinks on my own with new recipes and innovative drinks. Exams are hard enough to pass and it is very challenging and very interesting. Faculty teaching skills are very excellent and I enjoy these three years of the college.

Placement Experience:

After the fifth-semester students became eligible for campus placement and they really provided the best campus placements. ITC, Lemon Tree, Park Hyatt, Taj, Trident, etc. The highest package is 35000 per month and the t is 22000 per month. Students should get a minimum of 75 percent to get placement.

3 years specialisation students have their FOOD FEAST in DEC-FEB. All 3 years' books are distributed to the students and we can collect them from the librarian. Amenities in a classroom - Projectors, AC, WIFI, well structural chairs and tables and another lab for food and beverage we have a restaurant themed like a classroom, and also 2 kitchens with all ingredients and equipment. we do have sports club which is led by a faculty and also has club head or student counsil who handles it . TEA TOUR,BEVERAGE TOUR,CULINARY TOUR AND STATE BANQUET(Fine dining dinner) were some events taken place in college. there are differnet pages of students on facebook and instagram run by students.

As I am very passionate and have a great interest in cooking and want to further acquire more knowledge in the culinary department is the reason why I choose this course and industry. All the faculties of the college are skilled, qualified and have great knowledge of the subject matter. they always helped us and guided us when we wanted help. the student ratio was 40: 1. we had class tests after sessions and at end of each sem -the sem exams were conducted. For me personally, it was easy to pass and score good marks because whatever was thought during the sessions and where I kept making notes on what was been taught in class and those notes and lectures were asked for the exams.

All hotel brand comes for recruitment for various post, especially for associate and management trainee post. 100% of student placement is done by the college. After achieving this degree, I have a plan to work for a hotel brand and become its asset.

Fee structure for the first year, second year, and 3rd year is1,88,000Rs each, and it can be done in installments too, which I found pretty amazing. Most of the colleges won't allow more than 2 installments but here they allow us to pay by installments until the year gets over.

There are a lot of club activities and each specialization has different clubs by which we can get to study more of the subjects in a fun and interesting way. Apart from that, we have cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball tournaments which happen every year.

Campus Life:

We have the main event of food fest in college which are arranged and designed by the 3rd years of IIHM. Classrooms have a very good seating arrangement like one desk for one student, air conditioning, projectors etc. We have a lot of books and journals to access in the Library and gain additional knowledge. We have many clubs in college for example culinary club, literary club, cultural club, f&b club etc.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year onwards we are eligible for campus placements. Oberoi Hotels, Marriot Hotels, Leela palace Bangalore, Ritz Carlton hotel etc. Average package of a graduate will be 25k per month and the highest will be 30-40k based on the hotel. Nearly 85% of the students get placement by their graduation. My plans if to join a good chain hotels and join as a bartender.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am pursuing this coarse because of my love towards hospitality and Indian cuisine . I am willing to become a chef in future . The faculty we have is very experienced and 5-star catagory teaching faculty. We receive hugh support from our faculty in every instance . Students are more friendly and happy towards the faculty they hardly face any chalanges while interacting with faculty Faculty are very well qualified and higly experienced in their field . Teaching methods include Power point presentation , notes , something excel sheets as well . Term exams likely towards December and june . Though a tough exam and exam pattern but you can easily get through it if you sincerely study with full dedication and devotion towards study and faculty also .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Yearly fees is scheduled for about roughly 200000, it keeps changes every 2-3 year . The hike in fees is pretty good due to the opportunities this college provides in future in compared to other colleges . The total cost of study is estimated roughly around 600000. The fees can be on the lower side, so that lower catogery students can also avail this course . You can also get scholarship if you score more in your 12th , your score should be more than 80 percentage. You can also have financial aid by takin education loans , this college support education loans . During the internship program which College provide you , you can get stipend of 2000-3000 INR during you Industrial Training.

I choose this course because I want to work in the hotel industry. All the faculties and the mentor of our institute have a great experience in the industry and are also a great teachers to teach us. I love the way connecting with the students and helping students to get more and more practical knowledge of the industry motivates us to work in this industry. All the teachers and faculties are from the best brand or the leading brand in the hotel industry like Taj, Oberoi, JW Marriott, Leela place and many more. We have different patterns of exams it feels like we are giving exams all day but it's only beneficial if you give that. We have different semesters of pattern exams. It's a very occur every 6 months. We have five semesters in the whole of our educational course.

Internships Opportunities:

I am still waiting for my industrial training because I decided to go in the winter batch and the summer batch is still to leave because we have our sim 2 exams. Very excited about my industrial training because it looks fancy when you are going to work in a five-star hotel. My friends are selected by different companies like Oberoi, Taj and many more. Some of our flying abroad for industrial training like one of my friends is going to France for industrial training.
