REVIEW ABOUT THE COLLAGE OF THE KITCHEN AIHM CHANDIGARH

Likes

Faculty is really helpful and friendly they do help you with your things a lot
The anti ragging policy of our college is really good
The ragging bullying and harassment is strictly prohibited and if done a strict action is taken right away

Dislikes

The campus is kinda small and not really big
There's no canteen in the collage so it misses some convince

Admission:

I didn't applied in any other collage cause i got admission in this earlier and the nearest You have to give an enterence exam to get admissions called NCHMCT-JEE which is a govt exam or you can give collage's enterence exam to get in

So many facilities are provided by the college
Infrastructure is great as there is a single degree.

Admission:

I have selected this college due to its location. As it's a part of panjab and I'm a Punjabi as well so my family asked me to select this college and chandigarh is a great place and it's secure as compared to different states

My Experience in BEST Hospitality College

Likes

Faculty was always supportive and good. They helped students in every aspect.
The campus life is amazing, there are lot of activities in the campus.
My personal favorite was tuck shop in the college as snacks which were served was fresh and tasty prepared by the students.

Dislikes

Curriculum of the course is way behind which is happening in the industry.
College must have more cultural fests like other colleges.
Gender ratio in the college is not appropriate.

Admission:

AIHM Chandigarh is one of the the best college for the hotel management in the country, in north india after IHM pusa delhi this college is so goof in all the aspects and come under top ten IHM's. When someone looks for the college their are some as aspects like placements, alumni are all in all over in the indusrty which help students during and after their college life.

Large and air conditioned class room in campus
Good food at mess and Hosteis too good with common room for tow rooms

Dislikes

No canteen at College, only a tuck shop at College which provide only chips and biscuits
Limited time to visit outside of hostel for hostelers

Because this is the best college as per ranking and under my merit , so i choose this and get addmission in this college. At that time Dr. Ambedkar institute of hotel management and catering technology is top 3rd college in all over india. So i choose this college.

Why to choose IHM

Likes

Nice faculty members which will guide you better.
Good food at subsidized rate in college campus.
Wide variety of food which we are easily available.

Dislikes

No any other curricular activities in campus
No sports available in campus for students.
Less space to sit for students in free time.

Admission:

Reason for choosing this college over other is it's the top five colleges in india which is highly reputed among others. Admission process is not that difficult as compared to other. For the one who is interested has to give NCHMCT JEE.

Teacher’s behaviour,i like the behaviour of teachers they are so helpful to students
Food quality is good at aihm, they provide good quality of food
I like the behaviour of the staff also that’s also good towards the students

Dislikes

A lot of students are weird typo here that’s what I don’t like
Students are also being very selfish and annoying here
Also teachers do favouritism that’s also a thing

The dates of the application you can found on the lrotal of nchmt they are providing the whole information about the exam on their website and also providing the result facility and even you can fill the form from home just with your mobile.

IHM Chandigarh (worth to join)

Likes

The faculties are great and have industry experience.
There are so many extra curricular activities, clubs etc
There are ample opportunities for students during placements

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that good and Hostel facilities are not up to the mark
Too much of favoritism by some faculties towards some students
The course curriculum is not updated from last few years.

Admission:

The eligibility criteria is very simple. You need 60% in 10th and 12th and then you have to give a entrance test called NCHMCT-JEE, which held every year in the month of June. The application forms are available on the NTA website. There are reservation facilities for category students. The exams is not that very difficult and it's easy to score.

The grooming standards and overall system
Faculty gives good guidance to the students

Dislikes

The campus area is small, only two small buildings.

Admission:

60% percentage in the 12th boards are eligible. Nchmct jee exam to be given for selection, forms can be found on the nchmct site and direct admission has also started now and it's become more convenient to get admission

My First Home away from Home, AIHM Chandigarh

Admission:

i had to take an entrance exam, NCHM JEE whose form i had to fill up in january and gave the exam in april , after the results are in there are 3 rounds of counselling in which i had to fill up my four choice of colleges after which i could see if i got alloted that college based on ranking cutoff or not my pref were ihm pusa, ihm chandigarh and ihm jaipur but i could not get ihm pusa as i got 721 AIR and the cutoff was 680 in first counselling , i was given the choice to apply for second counselling for ihm pusa but for that i had to forfiet my allocation in ihm chandigarh, and after i accepted the chandigarh campus, i was offered choice of hostel based on my AIR the entire process was streamlined and very smooth

Review of one of the best IHM from the perspective of an ex aihmite

Admission:

I clear the NCHMCT entrance exam for IHM. Application fees around that time are 2500 and the form is released in Feb Yes, there is reservation benefits but I don't avail of any reservation benefit. No admission process is good even for fresh batch but only a little problem I face during my time that they don't tell us that we also have to submit counselling fees, so we face a little problem during that time.
