the college has its pros and cons

Dislikes

  • The campus area is small, only two small buildings.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose the course because I was interested in the subjects as this is a little different from other conventional career options. the faculty is good and they are well qualified, the college is particular and strict about grooming, behaviour, discipline and also punctuality

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is slightly high according to a government institute, the placement after that even though is there but the salary structure in the hospitality industry is usually very low. there are no scholarships as such. people get good placements if they have good communication skills, a good personality and good knowledge. others who are average students get average jobs

Campus Life :

Even though it's a bit boring you really don't get much time after spending your 9-5 in college as it gets a little hectic. events keep happening if you are an active part of clubs and the availability of books in the library is abundant. Sports Day happens annually in college.

Admission :

60% percentage in the 12th boards are eligible. Nchmct jee exam to be given for selection, forms can be found on the nchmct site and direct admission has also started now and it's become more convenient to get admission

Placement Experience:

In my 3 years from 5 semesters I become eligible for campus interviews, yes many companies come and also almost everyone got a job but the problem is there is no one to stop those who sit on every campus even they have a job. Many students were like even they have 4 jobs they going to many new campuses also. The average package is around 3 to 4.5 lakhs per annum and the maximum of the 5 star hotels and food outlets kike dominos have come for placement. They provide for manager level and also for supervisor level jobs. Yes, percentage of placements is good around 85 percent and the rest were who wants to study further or company rejects them. My plan is to again look for a job as because of corona my previous placement got cancelled.

Placement Experience:

5th-semester students are eligible for campus placements. The average percentage of the student should be above 65% so as to get a chance for placements. Many famous companies like Hyatt, Marriott, ITC, Oberoi, etc visit our college for placements.

Remarks:

For god sake, I'm really glad and blessed that I choose this campus. It is one of the best campuses in India, and if we talk about the management then they are also really good they took too much care of their students or facilities of their students and the management do their best to best for the students.

Remarks:

Well lot of positive are there. One draw back is that the girls are not allowed out of college campus after 7 pm and boys after 9. After 9 you're not allowed to go outside the hostel unless you have permission of warden or in case of emergency. The hostel rules are to be followed by everyone strictly.

Remarks:

The college boasts of its premium location being at the heart of the tricity i.e. Mohali, chandigarh and zirakpur. Just opposite to our college campus new lake sec - 42 which itself a tourist hub is there, and adjacent to it two more colleges are there. Hostel is as secured as fort knox (so girls u can relax and parents too) and the city is affordable too.
