Recruiting companies don't come to college for placement, but college does have its placement cell, from the food technology department our senior do get jobs in big companies. Mentors have their own contacts and help you to get internships and maybe jobs.

Variety of options and fields to explore of home science along with Extra Curricular activities, competitions, societies, students' Association and Fest, the locality as well as the crowd. My college is also marked as 32 in NAAF Ranking and is the best college to offer home science in South Asia.
1. NAAC A+ accreditation 2. Best location 3. Excellent college atmosphere 4. College's history 5. One of the best fests of University of Delhi are held here All this was what drove me to take admission at Lady Irwin College
I chose this college because of it's safe and high security deployed location. The connectivity is excellent and you have metro station, bus stand and auto stand within radius of a kilometre. Since I wanted to learn about various aspects of food and nutrition, I opted for this course in this college as the fees is quite nominal. It's also well equipped with necessities around.
This college is situated at the heart of delhi with every facility like metro, market, food shops, shopping markets, book shops available nearby. It also has a lot of auditoriums where drama sessions were held almost daily. One could never not find any way of entertainment here. Food technology is a varied subject and it has always interested my mind to look into the food manufacturing and processing. This course has helped me gained a perspective of food industry and its survival in the market. These 3 years were full of knowledge and approach towards life. The college infrastructure is supposed to be the best here. Lawns, cafes, amphitheatre is always full of life and chirpiness. The greeenery in our college is surreal. And those beautiful walls remain a photoshoot area forever . Lady Irwin is a lovely place to be.
I chose this course because I have always had interest in knowing about how the foods that we consume are processed and handled from farm to fork. This college is probably one of the best colleges in Delhi university providing this course. Since the college has an amazing location with good connectivity to almost entire DELHI NCR, it's easier for students to commute through several transportation facilities. Also being off campus, it's peaceful and away from unnecessary hustle bustle, making it safe for girls.
It is a renowned college in Delhi University, one of the prestigious college which is located in the center of Delhi. The proximity to bus stand and metro stations is very convenient. Also, it is NAAC accredited and highly suggested by the aluminas. I opted for this course majorly because I didn't want to pursue engineering and I didn't have Biology in class 12th which narrowed down by selection process. Also, this course was new and has a high demand in the food sector as food is something you can't get rid of even in the adverse conditions. At that time it seemed to be amazingly exciting to pursue something different and not following the norms.
It is one of the Best colleges for Food Technology Course and It is at very convenient location, Mandi House metro station and bus station are 5 minutes away for the campus. Teachers and Lab staff members are highly qualified.
It is one the known college since it's establishment also the place is near to metro service and the distance from my home is just for about half an hour. Also it was my first preference for my course therefore I chose this college.
