I have decided to take this course since I didn't get admission to mbbs. After choosing this course I have learnt about the importance of agriculture and learned about the course. It's a professional degree and job opportunities are more compared to other degrees.

I have decided to join this course by learning about the scope of Agriculture. The world cant live without food and it indicates the neverending and wide scope in the field of agriculture development and research. The curriculum will make us ready to face the real world. The teaching methods need to improve by increasing on farm experiences rather than sitting in a class

I have opted agriculture field which constitutes many subjects which gives us many opportunities for higher studies. It is said to be a 360degree course.I suggest to reduce the standards of the exams and remove certain unnecessary subjects like ipr and I also suggest to increase the time schedule for the last year program as it gives more exposure to the students

All india tour is a main factor for choosing this course. There are two compulsory course tours of total 40 days (South and North india tour in 2:1 split). We get to see Jammu Rajasthan Himachal Delhi Agra Punjab uttarakhand during North india tour.we are waiting for the South India trip. This course provides quality education on agriculture. We have internals and semester exams .1 sem is six months long.
The course is an 8 semester duration course. Each semester has a tution fee of around 10000 including all other academic charges. The college provide transparency on the fee structure. Fee is remitted by cash in the college office at the time of registration of semester. No other charges is to be paid to secure an admission to the course.
Curriculum is tougher than normal degree courses but less than medicine.is a professional course with good job opportunities.very well upadated syllabus.last yr we have well executed rawe programs which is completely experiential learning (interaction with farmers etc.)
It is a 4 yr course. The syllabus is not good as it is not updated well and practicals and interaction with farmers are very rare in first ever yrs. But final yr has very good exposure with Rural Agricultural Work Experience and Experiential learning in which we get exposure to various farmers, methods, institution and also gets the agri business skills. After UG we can opt for PG, AgriMBA etc. There is an All India Tour (compulsory) in the curriculum of around 1 month. Lab facilities are quite good. Fields for practical are available (rice, tapioca, pulses, tuber, millets etc are done by the students all by themselves. Which is fun and knowledgable)
Per year there will be 2 semesters. And the fee is mainly based on the guidelines of the Dr.YSR Horticulture University. Payment method is cash payment. No facility of online transaction. No they don't charge any extra fee to secure admission in the college. Yes they will maintain transparency.
