The faculty to students ratio currently is approx 60-70:1. The faculties are highly experienced and have a integrated approach towards teaching and practical demonstration. The major clinical departments like obstetrics & gynaecology, surgery , orthopaedic etc are provided by great hods . Few departments like pathology , biochemistry etc. are lacking a few facilities like complete staff. Each year is concluded with a professional exam conducted by the mpmsu jabalpur with several internal sessional exams. The exams are well oriented with the subjects with an average passing percentage of 80-85 percentage. ( Min -50% marks required to pass each exam both theory and practical individually.) The course curriculum is well designed with the needs of the current demand of healthcare of the country. Each subject is well versed with theory and practical knowledge with real time patient care at a destinated government hospital to provide the integrity of theoretical knowledge with actual patient care.

Since I have just experienced the first year faculties. There are three departments Anatomy Biochemistry Physiology HOD of Anatomy is Dr Sameer Sathe sir. Amit. K Srivastava sir is the Demonstrator . Both the teacher teaches in a way one can understand. When you ask them a doubt, they resolve it by asking questions to you . Till now, There is no PG in Anatomy department. In Biochemistry department, HOD is Dr Abhishek Sharma sir Dr Rajju Tiwari, Dr Kamal Kachhava are professors. Dr Swati Srivastava is the Demonstrator. There are 3 PGs in This department. Out of three, Dr Alishan ma'am helps a lot in practicals. Teaching of Dr Abhishek Sharma sir is little boring, Dr Kamal Kachhava sir's class is bit interesting. Dr Rajju ma'am's teaching is moderate . In practical class, you will understand. In physiology HOD is Dr Vivek Verma Dr Sumit Kumar , Dr Pawan Kumar , Dr Sonali Tripathi. There are Two Pgs, both are very helpful. I like Dr Sonali ma'am teaching most
