MPMSU offers admission to MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BUMS/ BHMS/ BNYS based on NEET UG. Madhya Pradesh NEET UG Counselling is expected to begin in July 2024 for allocation of seats for admission to MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BUMS/ BHMS/ BNYS at MPMSU. NEET PG 2024 is scheduled to be held on August 11, 2024 for admission to MD/ MS at MPMSU.
About MPMSU
Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University (MPMSU), Jabalpur is a state university established in 2011 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.MPMSU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Medical Council of India (MCI). It is the governing body for all the Dental, Nursing, Medicine, Paramedical, Homeopathic, Ayurvedic, Unani and Yoga colleges in Madhya Pradesh. - Firstly the college campus of GMC ratlam is way better then other medical colleges. The hospital is also is very nice and clean unlike other govt hospitals. The learning facilities are also very good. Campus is big and nice.

- The stipend that the MP govt provides to the interns is very less it's 14k approx it should be increased.

Admission is based on NEET exm , the rank you get the marks you get then cutoff Is. Decided In 2020 I got 575 marks with 33000 AIR and 800 MP state rank and I was able to secure a govt seat from UR category. Nowadays the cut off is increasing alot. Cut off is different for different categories , all the process and schedule for counseling is available on dme MP for MP counselling accordingly students have to manage. Choice filling is available so students can fill there priorities but it does not always depends choice filling the merit , score , category plays an cumulative role.

- They do not provide bus service to students so if you do not stay in hostel either you have to stay near college or have a personal vehicle
- Mess food is below average and complaining about mess food is use less also in summer's hostel goes drought for 1-2 days

For an MBBS in a govt medical College, you have to appear in the NEET exam. The cutoff of my college is not very high. For AIQ students it closes at around 20000 rank for the UR category and for state quota students It closes at around 450000 Rank. You are only eligible to do this course if you have passed class 12th and qualified in NEET examination. Whole admission process and counselling occurs online. You can get everything online once portal starts. Admission form, application fees, application dates every thing will be provided online. Reservation is there but I didn't get that benifit. Frequency and exam timing is okay as we have final examination at the end of the year. 3 tests occurs in between to make students learn and have knowledge about the syllabus. As the syllabus is vast more emphasis must be given on clearing concepts of students. And more practical based learning should take place. No need to spoon feed the students.

Admission to MPMSU Jabalpur is done based on NEET exam followed by State counselling to get selected. And you need to have passed 12th with 75% in PCB to be eligible.
Admissions have already been concluded for the academic year 2018-19 at the Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University
