Well, I have always wanted to study Bcom and that was how i started checking colleges that provided the course. St Edmund's is known to have one of the best teaching staff plus it is acollege where ny cousins graduated so u chose it. The course for us has 6 semester wherin every semester has three subjects we should be studying. Among the three subjects ,there is an honours paper. One semester is about 5 months or less. Even thought there are only three subjects, the content is very vast. So the teachers sometimes rush things a lot and it makes us hard to catch up. Overall, i love the course.

I chose this because I love the subject. I know that it really isn't an easy subject, but I'm willing to give my all. My economics teachers here are making me love the subject even more. Their efforts and dedication never go unnoticed

The courses are mostly complete and satisfactory. The prices are also reasonable for one of the top colleges in Shillong, if not the North East. However the curriculum is a bit extra in my opinion. The Sec, Mdc and Vac courses all have their uses but their use is made negligible as they just add to the workload of the students which makes them a burden to study apart from our major and minor subjects.

Although this is a private college still it has recognition for the efficiency of this college. I wasn't interested in medicine and engineering. so I had to do a BSc so this college is one of the best in North East India. From the chemistry department, there are various scopes such as the food industry, oil industry, wax industry, ONGC, OIL, and various jobs. The teaching method is efficient and if there is any chance to improve then I would like to say that faculty should monitor that every student is being facilitated with proper materials.

I think the course here is so less as compared to the other universities like we only have 8 paper in 3 years so we just need to prepare 8 papers for graduation so we have to study outside of the college syllabus also as they are not containing 100 off the graduation syllabus

The department is preparing us for futher studies like master and helping us prepare for competitive exams by meeting us twice a week with a mind map each session. This helps us in gaining confidence in interviews and help us in making mind maps

For me now it's okay but we got many teachers for only one subject and not just 2-3 but 5 .soo it's kind of weird and feels very unnecessary . One of the major problem that we faced that our college was not sure whether to apply NEP20 or not . Because of that we were not sure of the syllabus. And in first semester I think main subject were not so main.

My honors subject is BSc in ZOOLOGY and I chose this course because I had a deep interest to study animals as I loved studying biology. Faculties are really experienced out here. Every faculty have cleared CSIR NET from science and almost all of them hold a Ph.D. degree. The teaching methods are good. Final exams are conducted after every 3 months from the day each semester begins and it's not that hard to pass exams.
