Campus placements happen in two scenarios, first during the first term of college where students are placed for their summer internship process. It primarily happens in month of September-October. The second phase is the final placement, which happens in January and February for final year students. Majorly all companies visit the college ranging from MBB, JMPC, HUL,ITC,P&G, Microsoft, Media.Net etc.
The placements are very good, with 100% of students getting placed with packages at par with the other top business schools around India. Consult, prodman and marketing roles are in demand and more than 100 companies visit each year.
In the first year, there are placement opportunities for internship and in the second year, there are proper campus placements that take place, led by a student elected placement committee. Some of the top companies that extended offers for the students were Microsoft, Google, AccStrat, ITC, Mondelez, JPMC etc. The highest package offered was 5L and the average was 2.2L with 100% placements for the summer internships. I plan to work in the finance or consult sector after getting my degree.
Since we are the 1st batch I won't talk about final placements but the team is the same as XLRI Jamshedpur with students from the Delhi campus and Jamshedpur placements were amazing. As for SIPs, we had companies such as Microsoft, ITC, Mondelez to name a few. XLRI has 100% placement records that too within 2 days.
The Summer Internship Placements for the batch of 2020-22 were held recently. The process was common with Jamshedpur, and very good offers were obtained by the Delhi campus batchmates. Consulting, FMCG, BFSI, Pharma, IT, Prodman, GenMan, all the major roles were offered. Companies such as Microsoft, ITC, Mondelez, Adobe, Axis, ICICI, TAS, ABG visited and made offers. And 100% placements were achieved for the first batch of the Delhi Campus. The final placements process will also be homogenous with JSR, and the prospects are quite good. I have interests in sales and marketing, and GenMan roles, and they are the domains I am looking forward to.
Many companies participate in the placements and SIPs process at XLRI, including FMCGs, Consulting, BFSI, marketing, etc. This year, despite the COVID scenario, the entire final placements were completed in two days with an average package of Rs. 25.08 Lakh from Rs. 24.4 Lakh in the previous year.
One of the best placements among the B-schools of the country. The SIPs happen during the first term and the CRP happens in the fifth term. The average package for the finals is approx 25 LPA and it has a record of 100% placements every year.
The SIPs are top-notch with many FMCGs, IBs, etc coming and recruiting students for various roles. The final placements are completed in not more than 2 days with the average placements figure to be 23 Lacs per annum.
The placements of our college are together for both the campuses of XLRI. The recently concluded Summer placements have been excellent and the students have received a lot of diverse profiles. The applications of JPMC (Markets vertical) and Accenture Strategy were opened to our campus and these are the roles that either do not visit IIM Indore, Kozhikode, and FMS, etc or are rare visitors there.
The placements are undergone through the placement committee, which is run by the students themselves. The process is such to ensure that it is fair and unbiased. The summer internship takes place in term 1 itself. There are some great companies for all profiles. Bain and Mckinsey for consulting. Axis cap for finance. ITC & HUL for marketing. Media.net, Walmart, Microsoft for ProdMan. XLRI has a history of 100% placements and this was held for my batch too. The average placements come up to Rs.2500000
