New Delhi: XLRI Delhi-NCR welcomes the new 2024-26 batch of PGDBM with great enthusiasm celebrating their diverse academic backgrounds and significant professional experience. Fr. Dr. K.S. Casimir, the Director of XLRI Delhi-NCR expressed his excitement about the new students highlighting the variety of perspectives they bring to the table. With 51.3% of the cohort from engineering disciplines and 48.7% from non-engineering fields along with a notable increase in female representation to 30.7%

Diverse Academic Backgrounds

The new batch at XLRI Delhi-NCR includes students from a variety of academic fields. About 51.3% are engineers, while 48.7% come from non-engineering backgrounds. This mix of academic backgrounds promises to make classroom discussions lively and filled with different viewpoints.

Between 2021 and 2024, the proportion of students from non-engineering backgrounds at XLRI Delhi-NCR has shown a steady increase: 35.6% in 2021, 30% in 2022, 37.7% in 2023, and 48.7% in 2024. Conversely, the proportion of engineering background students has decreased over the same period: from 64.4% in 2021, to 70% in 2022, 62.3% in 2023, and finally 51.3% in 2024.

Increased Female Representation

This year, XLRI Delhi-NCR has more female students than ever before. Women now make up 30.7% of the new students, a 25% increase from last year. This shows XLRI's dedication to gender diversity in education.

Professional Experience Shines in XLRI Delhi-NCR's New Cohort

Many students in the new batch have significant work experience. Over 40% have worked for more than a year and about 25% have more than two years of professional experience. This experience helps prepare them for real-world challenges.
