Internship opportunities within the college are limited and not available for all the courses that fall under a bachelors degree.

The most important thing that I like was the infrastructure of the college where it had well furnished smart classes with smart boards in every department. The college provides each and every student the best facilities available to students.
The other thing is that the college supports arts and sports so much that every student can participate in the college sports and arts team and even it conducts sports meet and arts day for each and every student and it also provides training.

Dislikes

Th most disliked thing that the college management introduced uniforms which had a negative impact between the students that they used wear casual and formal dresses and suddenly to uniform felt like they were being rejected of their freedom
The physical education department was not good as they didn't support the way in which the college supported the sports as the head of the department was better but the physical director doesn't know anything about sports and simply judges everyone

Placement Experience:

There are a lot placements taken place in the college and we will be asked to register for placements if interested during our 2nd year of the program. And if we register we will be given the best classes for attending placements. There are classes on placements drives which provides best classes on aptitude test and interview skills. There are also mock interviews taken place in the college to help us perform better in the placement drives. There are several companies and banks which comes to select students for their institutions as TCS, EY, ALLIANZ, THE TIMES and banks like federal bank, HDFC bank, SBI

Physics life in S.B College.

Cool syllabus and the way they are teaching was good.
We have many extra curicular activities and have oppertunities in sports.

Dislikes

Hostels are strict after 6pm and they not allowded to go outside after 6pm.

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements in companies like MRF and in many banks. South indian,federal banks and Tyre manufacturer MRF visited in our institution. We will get 3-6 lakhs per annum package from those companies. Around 10% of students places there.

Firstly,I really loved the library. It provided us with enormous number of books. All books needed for every course and assignments as well as literature books are always available there. They also provide free wifi, other digital facilities, etc.
I also love the ambience the college and its premises offer. It's really very calm and anyone can study anywhere without any distraction. The college also offers free wifi ay different spots inside the campus. There are three cafeterias insidecampus

Dislikes

In my opinion, the college should provide more hostels for girls as there is only 1 girls hostel under management.

Placement Experience:

The college offers campus placements to highly recognized and best companies of different fields. The college also jas a placement assistant cell(PAC) that helps students with the placement procedure, preparation for interview and training for the same. PAC is a very efficient initiative offered by the college and the students can rely on them for their placement related training.Students from 5th semester can apply for placements and they'll recieve proper guidance. I'm a 2nd year student so I'll be having my placement related training starting next sem. Till date I have not attended or visited any companies bit I believe on getting placed at a well established company from the college.

Admission Process: Quick and simple process. The procedure usually finishes quickly and kick-starts the classes way before other colleges.
Fests and Programmes: There are a lot programmes and fests for students to exhibit their unique skills and talents.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities: The hostels needs to be improved. The facilities are less and the rules of these hostels are far from fair.
Students Intake: The student intake is less. Part of this problem is already fixed this year by opening admission for girls in many boys only courses.

Placement Experience:

Students from 2nd year UG and PG programmes are eligible for placements. There is Placement Assistance Cell to coordinate the placement programmes. Companies like Accenture, Federal Bank, ESAF, MRF, etc are some companies that regularly hire students. I'm also looking for a placement in one of these companies.

I liked the overall historical popularity and prestige that the college adorns in the state of Kerala.
I liked how energetic and vibrant the college community is during festivals and celebrations and in overall college life experieince.

Dislikes

I disliked the absence of trees and greenery, which makes the place a little too hot in temperature.
I disliked the parking services in the college as it was really hard to get a spot to park vehicles due to overcrowding.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many aspects of the curriculum that infulenced my decision to choose BA English Literature in St. Berchmans College. Their syllabus is far more challenging and interesting than what other colleges and universities offer in Kerala. The examinations and overall assessment of projects and grades are top-tier and is comparatively difficult to obtain. The course steadily provides good quality information and knowledge on English Litearture and readies the student to be more than qualified for further studies in English Literature or any related courses. The areas where they can improve in the course curriculum is through availing more optional courses such as various other language courses/philosophy related courses to be selected. Their teaching environment can also be improved by improving basic infrastructure in the classrooms such as airflow etc. They conduct their exams freequently and on time. The examinations are challenging but necessary for overall improvement in students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was influenced to choose this course not because of the curriculum but because of the value of the college certificate. The curriculum does prepare you for real world applications and further academic pursue. The course curriculum has to be updated as well as the teaching method, both of them are currently outdated. The frequency and timing of exams aren't actually fine and their difficulty level is hard.

Placement Experience:

The students of the final year became eligible for campus placement. Placement companies are a federal bank, SBI Bank, and a national bank. Etc. Per month 60000 stipend. 85%of students get placement from this campus. if I completed my degree and try to get a placement job.
