I choose architecture because I wanted to build great buildings. The curriculum was mostly fancy and outlandish that involved projects that were not fit for Real world applications. The work that an architect receives on average were mainly focused in third and fourth year. Other than that it was either Grand projects or projects that were not for Real world applications. The pacing of the curriculum was very fast and the saw majority of students were not able to finish their projects by time. There semester exams and and project submissions mid semester. Difficulty level was above average.
Buildings and structures have always fascinated me since a child. so I always dreamed to design such structures which led me to choose this course. the faculty-student ratio used to be 1:4 before but now it's 1:10 the faculties and gradually left the college in the past year. Sharda has just been appointing full-time faculty for now due to which the number has decreased. we have 2 exams a semester i.e in 6 months. the exams are course based so it is not that difficult to pass if the course is understood.
