- Application for admission to PG courses (Traditional / Vocational / Self-finance) through Chancellor Portal is extended till Sept 5, 2024. Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women Admission 2024 has started. SPM College PG Admission 2024
SPM College offers MA & B.Ed programs in multiple specializations at the PG level. All the candidates must have a graduate degree in the relevant stream from a recognized university with 50% marks (at least) to become eligible for the PG courses. Step 1: Register for the Entrance Examination
SPM College admissions to all UG & PG courses are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. To apply for admission, candidates must register for the following entrance examinations:

- Candidates applying for CUET must select Delhi University while filling out the application form. Additionally, they must choose subjects for which they have appeared or qualified in the last qualifying exam.
To successfully submit the CUET application, candidates will require various documents to support their application such as -

- Scanned copy of your signature (black ink)
- Photo ID proof issued by the government (Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.)

Step 2: Appear for the Entrance Exam

Step 3: Registration on DU CSAS Portal and Filling of Courses and College Preferences
Candidates who qualify for the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for the LSR seat allotment. Once the registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill in their college and course preferences. Registration portals for admission to various courses along with the registration fee of Delhi University are as follows:

- Candidates who want to apply for the Sports Supernumerary or ECA quota must pay an additional application fee of INR 100.

Step 4: Seat Allocation
The seat allocation for all courses will be done in multiple rounds. Delhi University is going to release the merit lists in two categories: Common Merit List and Category 2 Merit List (for PG courses only). The Common Merit List (CML) is open to all candidates. However, for the Category 2 Merit List (C2ML), only students who have graduated from Delhi University will be considered for admission to PG programs. The Highest Possible Preference will be provisionally allocated to a candidate who meets the SPM College admission criteria such as:
- Combination of selected college and course
- Rank secured in the entrance exam
- Availability of seats
- Category of candidates
Step 5: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission
Upon declaration of merit list, candidates can check the list by logging in to their CSAS dashboard for acceptance of the allocated seat, if offered. Once a seat has been allocated to SPM College in a particular round, the candidate must 'Accept' the allocated seat before the last date/time in a given time period.
- Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the college administration will approve the seat allotment by checking the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate.

- I really liked the infrastructure of our college. It is convinent for us as the classrooms are quite spacious.
- The faculty is also experienced and takes classes regularly.
Dislikes
- The elevator of our college doesnt work and we have to take stairs for even 3rd floor.
- We face attendance issues even if it is less than 1% of the required attendance.
Admission:
I did apply to other colleges of delhi university however i got selected for this college as I got the score as per the required cut off of this college. I wasnt really rejected from other colleges as i only applied for DU , and i did'nt find the need for upgrading this college as i was satisfied with this one. For taking admission in this college, you must pass +2 from a recognized board and give CUET exam only in the Subjects which you had in your +2 . For my college cut off is not really high and once you get selected you need to verify your documents and pay the fees to confirm your admission. My overall admission process was easy as document verification and payment of fees took place online .

- Supportive and helpful faculty members and staffs they do good interactions with students which help them making more confident and help to grow their personality more better way. Also the way of teaching is very excellent and clear. Leaving no doubt
- Campus Life is exciting there it has a huge campus with full of greenery, different different flowers making it more attractive

- There's a less hygiene in the campus which should be provide more Focus
- College canteen should include more food items as it's boring to have same food for the consecutive 3 or 4 years

I applied for north and south campus colleges of delhi University but unfortunately due to average score I could not able to have admission there. I got shyama Prasad Mukherjee college Punjabi bagh for the score 630 General category through entrance exam called cuet

- The greenery of my college is preety amazing. It fells and looks good.

- The supporting staff is not good. Something they become very rude.
- The hygiene of college is not likable. They need to maintain proper cleaning specially of washrooms

I basically took the cuet exam and after the declare of results. The students need to fill out the preferences list form from the highest preferred college to the lowest preferred college. Then on the basis of marks and preference of the college, the students are given a college one college is allotted in in list out. The students who are satisfied in the first round can accept and can pay the fees. The students who want to go for 2nd round need to reject and wait wo the 2nd round. No, I haven't applied for any other universities of colleges as I want to be a part of Delhi University only.

I was from the covid batch so the admission process was online only no offline form submission form was there and also till my batch no cuet used to get conduct for undergraduation. I got admission in the third cut off from the merit procedure and my overall Percentage was 80%

- The water dispenser is not good at all. We have to buy water in summers in case our water gets finished.
- Washroom are not in good shape. The infrastructure is so good except the washrooms.
Admission:
The admission is through CUET examination as like in all the Central Government Universities. For the eligibility you need to have a good score in two of your domain subjects and in general test or in three of your domain subjects. For the reservation category it is very simple to get in the college as their cutlff is not less than that of the general category. And CUET exam is way too easy to crack.

Admission was through CUET. I got admission in this college through counselling on CSAS portal of Delhi University. Application and admission process was very smooth. As my course was cs hons so earlier only science students could apply but now this is open for other fields like commerce also. Exam was of normal difficulty. I got admission in second round of counseling. Admission is based on cuet score.

The admission is through cuet entrance examination as like all central universities. The marks obtained in the exams are mandatory. There flexibility in marks to disabled or eligibled students. The exam occured in regular basis. Cuet exam apply through online and attende through online itself in provided institutes by NTA. - The teaching staff is really good ! One will not be disheartened by the teaching at this college as its so conceptual and understandable.
- The college is so spacious and have a big ground. The environment is so green and full with trees and flowers which makes the college look so beautiful.
Dislikes
- The only problem is the washrooms. Other infrastructure facilities are so good just the washrooms can be a lot better.
- There should be more placement & internship opportunities as we don't have any for now.
Admission:
I gave the cuet exam for entering this college as it comes under Delhi university and at my time cuet was been held for the first time so it was a bit confusing back then but now cuet has improved a lot. I scored like 680 marks from the total of 800 and was offered my dream course BCom hons in my dream university DU. I'm from general caste so no reservations availed.

For taking admission in BA programme, Delhi University now considers the score of CUET and on the basis of your rank you get the college according to your preference. During my time, I got admission according to merit based system.

The admission process was quite easy and the forms of application and fees are easily available and I did not have any problem in finding them . I haven't availed for reservation benefits so I don't know about the reservation benefits also there are reservation is benefits present according to the policy of Delhi University .The frequency and timing of exams are approximately in 5months and their difficulty is okay and they are not much difficult but it depends on the preparation of the student. The frequent test article for example class test .
