  • Washroom are not in good shape. The infrastructure is so good except the washrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am from Commerce background and I wanted to do my bachelor's in the same field and in future i wanted to do CS, so I opted for this course. In our batch there are almost 120 student divided into 2 sections (60 students in each section). Commerce department teachers are experienced, well qualified and their teaching methods are awesome. The semester exams are easy and of you study in detail you can score well in the exams.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

So year wise fees that I'm paying in Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College is around Rs.10,175. And yeah its the same for all the three years. We have examination fees for every semester for around Rs.1500. There is departmental fees of Rs. 300 for the fests and events organised by the department. And there's a library fees deposit of Rs. 400 which is to be paid compulsory. The fees for all the students is the same whether they're of any category. The college didn't Provide any scholarships to any of my batchmates. And if talking about Jobs or internships, the one's they're providing are with jo stipend and very less salary.

Campus Life :

There's only one fest, that happens in the month of February or March, which is known as SRIJAN, it goes on for three days. The library has many books and our library has three floors. It's very spacious and gives a quiet environment for the students to study for their respective exams, or to do their assignments.

Admission :

The admission is through CUET examination as like in all the Central Government Universities. For the eligibility you need to have a good score in two of your domain subjects and in general test or in three of your domain subjects. For the reservation category it is very simple to get in the college as their cutlff is not less than that of the general category. And CUET exam is way too easy to crack.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is average. Like we have 60 students in our class. And on an average 30 student attend class every day. So teachers can assist each student carefully. The teachers are carefully prepared for every class they send a lesson plan before class in which ilthe notes are available. Yeah some teachers are approachable and you can even share problems which you're facing in college. They try to solve them for us or give us advice

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester the students became eligible for the placement but because average placement of my college is not so good, most of the students don't wait for the college placement. My plan after getting the degree is to study other professional courses in Commerce field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my course, bcom (prog), there are few subjects which helps in real world applications such as income tax, gst, accounting, etc which could also help in our future academic pursuits. The difficulty level is not much high if you are well prepared then the exams are easy.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for sitting in Campus placements after completion of Sem 4 exams & can join after graduating. Average package: 7.4 LPA (approx) Highest package: 21 LPA (approx) as per Placement Cell data. Companies such as Deloitte, Wipro, EY, KPMG, Crowe, Morgan Stanley, De shaw & Co, Walmart, PWC, Accenture, Mother Dairy etc took place in the most recent placement drive of our college. If no campus placement is offered, one can go for off campus placements and approach people and companies through LinkedIn. They may also go for Higher Education such as MCom, MBA or any professional courses such as CA, CPA, CFA, FRM etc. I feel Placement Cell of Ramjas College puts its best foot forward in order to bring the best companies on campus, assisting students throughout the process, and smooth onboarding in companies. The efforts of each and every member of the cell are commendable.

the placement scenarios starts in the 5th semester. many MNCs visit the college and the most placed students are from b.com and b.com honours. I don't know about the other courses but I don't think they get many opportunities in college placement. average placement for b.com and BCom is around 5 lakh. the highest package ever offered was around 20 lakh as mentioned in college website.

Actually, our college starts campus as a 2nd-year student. And most of the best part of campus is that every student is selected individually for performance and report. If a student is able to clear the campus requirement he or she will be easily selected and his carrier start making
