About Nowgong Engineering College
Engineering College, Nowgong was established in 2012 by the Madhya Pradesh government. It is located at NH-75, behind Navodaya Vidyalaya, Naura Pahadi, Nowgong, District- Chhatarpur. It is among the 5 autonomous government engineering institutes in Madhya Pradesh. College got approval from All India Council for Technical education (AICTE) in the academic year 2012-13. It is among the top engineering colleges of the state.
The college offers 3 types of courses in engineering- Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. College also plans to start Electrical Engineering in the near future.
Companies like L&T, Galcon and others visit the campus at semester end. Also internships are provided by companies like BHEL, Maruti Suzuki etc.
The admission procedure of the college is completely online. The maximum number of students to be enrolled in each course is 60.

The entire admission process of the college is online. There is no offline procedure. Admission to the college is solely based on the results of the entrance test conducted that is on the basis of results of Pre Engineering and Pharmacy Test (PEPT)/Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main).

- Sports - Nowgong Engineering College Institutes provides a platform to students for participating in various sports activities. State Level and National Level Sports competitions are conducted at the institute. Students have been participating in these events and competitions frequently.

Here, the institute ensures the overall development of the student by providing facilities to each student to enhance their communication skills and build their overall personality. I Applied To Dr. Hari Singh University for doing a BSc but I've changed my mind about doing BTech from Government Engineering College naugaon this college is the very best college. I belong to the general quota for admission. There are no such admission criteria you have to but at least 50% marks in your 12th class and you re should be 18 to 19 minimum for getting admission. You have to take your ideas passport size photos like Aadhar card pan card and 12th marksheet and marksheet transfer certificate and migration certificate to get admission and after that, there are three rounds of counseling.

Because college is government and near my town. It has high popularity near districts. It has high qualified faculty. Town is not so expensive. All things related to study are easily available at local market.

The institute atmosphere is very good here but it lacks in various parameter like placement, labs and infrastructure. The faculties here are well educated, energetic and well qualified. Hostel is very good here but only limited students can avail it.

Overall it is a good college healthy environment far from the city approx 4 km from nowgong and 20 km from chhatarpur. I recommended if you search for engineering studies I would recommend this one.

Extra cariculam activities is not good But academic is good because of teachers they are well educated and polite in nature Gust faculty is not good Sports week is a good event there Teaching staff is good

Positive- Because Strength of students in College is less so every student is special. Faculties are well qualified and dedicated. They helps us for various compatative exams. Negative- Alumni network is not strong. College is situated in less developed area so not big exposure. Lack of laboratory and good library. Hostel facility is not available till now.
