The main aspect that influenced me is the externals and clinicals that made by decision to take this course because more than theory is the postings and clinicals which are neccessary to become a good doctor and also helps you to gain confidence. This is not just a curriculum but is a priority academics that prepares a student to save ones life which is far more important than just learning or reading. And yes it prepares us very well through clinicals and postings in addition to theory lectures or exams. As per my view, improvements in posting durations is very important than theory durations due to the priority. And yes teaching methods may get improve if some more fresh cadavers may get introduced in college every year. Exam are held in two phases, 3 terminals and 1 final. 3 terminals are held whole year with 3 to 4 months gap and finals at the end of the semester which is the final exam. Terminals exams are easy and quick whereas finals are tough and time consuming.

If you're getting into MBBS, you have cleared neet and you have a slight idea of what you're getting yourself into. The subjects are tough, especially anatomy, because of the vastness of the subject. But if you're consistent and making lil efforts everyday, it's achievable without hampering the fun part of college life. Here are a few gem of resources that everyone uses for first year. Biochemistry - jambhulkar notes, Vasudevan/ satyanarayan book Lippincott for advanced studies Physiology - Sembulingam and Guyton. I swear by them. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Ganong for in depth studies Anatomy - Johari for exams Vishram Singh for easy to understand language and super simple diagrams Gray's anatomy for in depth understanding. Embryology - vishram Singh Histology - IB Singh Dissection - Cunningham or Mercy Navis There will be 2 terminal exams 1 pre University and then the final University. Don't rely on lectures to prepare you for this. You'll have to teach yoursel

Right now it has a batch of 125 students, Faculties are very supportive. Special the student's cell head. All faculties are well educated, especially the clinical subjects are awesome. The annual function IRIS which is organised every year is awesome. After MBBS having to serve a bond of 2 years in rural areas which has a amount of 25 lac rupees.

I chose this course as I always wanted to be a doctor by joining this college and this course it will help me to achieve this aim. if I talk about the faculty: student ratio it may be somewhere around 10 students per faculty. all the faculty members are highly qualified professional doctors, everyone is having a professional degree postgraduate and above. their teaching method is up to the mark. more focus is given on practical knowledge rather than only bookish knowledge. in one year one university exam is conducted and one pre-university exam which comprises of practical and theory both. apart from this two terminal exams on an average 5-part completion test are also organized to test the knowledge of the student. the exams are quite a bit difficult as the syllabus is highly vast. one has to regularly study the concepts and thoroughly understand them so as to pass the exam.

Through the official portal of Directorate of Medical Education, Raipur I registered for the NEET Chattisgarh State Counselling. I was allotted a seat in the college through selection on the basis of my scorecard.

Current college campus is temporary but the facilities are good.
