I choose this course because I was pursuing chartered accountancy course and PGDM in finace would have giveen me the career progression in my life that I needed. Also Dalmia college is famous for its PGDM in finance course thats why I opted for this college.
NL Dalmia colleges known for its PGDM courses and specially PGDM in course and here they are having a good placements opportunities for the PGDM courses. If I'm talking about faculties then each and every faculty is well Qualified and 70% of them are holding a PhD degree with them. The knowledge that they gave is very clear and also very practical. Talking about faculty to student ratio So they don't have any overstaffed Faculties. As we all know that it is a trimester based course and there are total six trimesters.
The course curriculum is designed in trimester pattern, which means in both the years, exams are conducted thrice, for checking how the students retain the various subjects and to provide the diversification and knowledge in the core domain which a student chooses. My course for the same is PGDM in Finance, as I wanted to be the CFO of a big organisation, and this course along with future insights would help me to move in the same direction. There are multiple reasons for choosing this course, one of those was this. The faculties in the institute are highly qualified, after getting there studies over from big institutes like IIT's and IIM's they focus to train future leaders through the mix of curriculum and there personal experiences too. The exams use to happen in every 3 months and were always scheduled on time, and it was not so easy to pass the exams, if you didn't go well read of the particular subject. Although Trimester 1 exam was not that tough because of the diversification.
17:1 is the student faculty ratio, the course choosen by me is Finanace PGDM as it is my interest of study and Dalmia provides great learning opportunities and practical knowledge about finance and course curriculum is very informative
The curriculum is practical and case study based with less emphasis on theoretical knowledge and the faculty is also very supportive and encouraging and makes sure that every student is ready to appear for placements and ready for corporate life.
